This was part of the lunch set which was $8.90 including this, miso soup and green tea! The chicken katsu is crispy and the cheese with curry tasted good too!
I’m not a beef eater but just to share one of the signature ramens here in Sumo Bar Happy! With a tonkotsu based broth, the thin ramen noodles are topped with slow-roast oxtail, braised beef tendon, sautéed sliced US beef and a boneless short rib that was slow roasted for 8 hours. Also, all ramen bowls here come with their house-marinated beansprouts, seaweed, black fungus and most importantly, FREE FLOW ajitama eggs!! If you’re there with a friend or two, there’s also the Bone-in Short Rib Ramen ($42) that comes with a crazy huge 600g US prime short rib.
For non-beef eaters like myself, there’s also a Char Siew Ramen ($17) on the menu and instead of beef, it comes with slow-braised Nagano pork char siew.
Thank you to @sumobarhappy for the fun night and @that_dex for the invite!! 🙆🏻
