They serve good and authentic Chinese dishes, especially Beef Noodles. Tried this after their renovation/expansion and it’s so good!

Sorry, just not worth it. I’d rather have Beef Hor Fun at Wing Seong Fatty’s Restaurant (just next door).
This plate of beef kway teow was oily and lacks the wok hey.

Good and cheap. Standard wintermelon tea with agar/aiyu jelly. Good enough to quench my thirst.

The bee hoon tasted a little weird at the beginning, like there was this extra charred or plastic taste. Not too sure if it’s from the styofoam box or whatever. But it had a very distinct taste and only from the bee hoon. The other ingredients were fine and well there’s nothing much to complain for its generous portion at just $3.50. Good and affordable, nothing special about the ingredients. There’s a very good economical bee hoon stall but it’s all the way in Jurong East. I absolutely love their bee hoon/mee goreng with ngoh hiang. Maybe it’s time to travel to the West.

Price: $2 - 2pc Otah Bun (Joint)
One of my favourite bakeries! Good and affordable, with generous fillings.
The otah is a little spicy, just the way I like them!

Good and affordable! Have been patronising this place ever since my colleague brought me there. Anyways, they’ve changed their usual handmade noodles to wider ones.
This is actually a small restaurant next to Bunnies. Can’t recall the name of this restaurant. Sometimes the food is just so good that you don’t have to remember the name as long as you know how to get there 😅 I’ll update the restaurant name the next time I visit.

Salted Egg Chicken with French Fries and Onion Rings
Affordable western food in the neighbourhood. The salted egg sauce was alright. Not the best but good enough to satisfy my salted egg cravings.

I’m truly amazed by the huge portion and the soup is just nice, not overly salty. It comes with sweet potato noodles, egg, sliced beef and cabbage. And of course, it comes with the standard kimchi and stir-fried anchovies. A good alternative to YTF and Fish Soup. Well, this was the only dish with calories on their menu - 500 kcal. I suppose the rest are > 500 calories 😅

Good alternative to YTF or Fish Soup when you feel like having something warm and easy to digest. Decent portion and it seems like they make their own fishballs? Well, they’re called Jia Le Handmade Fishball Noodles...

Er Jie Curry Puff has opened a 2nd outlet at ARC 380. I was just going through instagram and I was like I must try this today! So I texted the boss and pre ordered these puffs. They had them ready when I got there. I could totally tell that they were freshly fried.
Smells real good and the thing is I’ve yet to try but excited to post. So here it is! I’ll update later when I have them (not all) for dinner 🙃
*Update - One of the BEST Curry Puffs
- Smaller than OCK
- Generous and super flavourful fillings
- Crispy and thin curry puff skin
I’ll definitely get this again when I’m in the area 😍

Not exactly cheap but hey! It’s for a variety - Char Siew, Sio Bak and Roast Duck.
My preference has always been:-
Char Siew > Roast Duck > Sio Bak
And today, 88 Hong Kong Roast Meat Specialist’s Sio Bak was so freakin good?
It has a good amount of meat in each bite,
the fats just melts in your mouth,
the skin is so crispy and fragrant???
Hands down to the Best Sio Bak I’ve had.
The Roast Duck and Char Siew were okay. I’ve had better ones. I like that the Char Siew is sweet and charred. And the chilli on the side was really not bad, quite spicy and goes well with the meats.
