Well, here, it comes in the form a comforting pie, with buttery, crumbly pastry. Annette's take on Devil's Curry or Kari Debal was a much welcomed twist and we wasted no time in digging in.
Annette's version is filled with crunchy green beans, radicchio, cabbage and tempeh. The star of the show is her power sauce! Thick and spicy, it got us off on a sizzling start. I love how spicy the sauce was. So addictive.
Annette is a gracious and warm host, allowing us to peer into her kitchen and asking her a ton of questions. Yes, we love to eat and are equally curious about about our food! Dinner started off with these most delectable Bak Kwa Jam Baklavas. I'm not a fan of baklavas as I usually find them too sweet but here, it's a different story altogether. She's perfected it and I didn't have qualms helping myself to a second helping.
