Proper Italian style with a super crispy thin base, only the tiniest of sprinklings of cheese, gorgeous tomato sauce and fresh veggies on top! Even for us that live out east!! Come on and build that new MRT line already...Heard some great things about @rabbitcarrotgun and wasn’t disappointed! I had the Rabbit’s Greens, with Green Hummus, Charred Vegetables, Beetroot, Avocado, Tahini, Toasted Seeds & Grains. My birthday treat booked by the huzbo was the brilliant @neonpigeonsg and can’t wait to go back! Japanese tapas style sharing dishes where you are advised to pick 7-8 per two people (although next time we might only do 5-6, so full!). All the dishes were really good, some even exceptional. The best dish was the rather unassuming Tokyo Houmous, which was basically edamame flavoured but must have contained MSGs or something as it was sooooo savoury and delicious. I haven’t ever eaten anything like it! Next time I’m ordering a large order of this to dunk my face in....

Never my favourite place, I didn’t think Sentosa would be where I would see out my second decade, but I had a fabulous evening. I had a naughty Shrimp 🦐 burger with fries and coleslaw washed down with a couple of glass of white. The burger was pretty good, like a giant piece of scampi in a bun 😋 The setting made it even more perfect with the gentle sound of the waves. I am excited to see what my third decade has in store!!!

For my 30th we gave it a try and....well...we couldn’t understand what the fuss was about. I had the Thai Style Tofu side order with plain rice and some of huzbo’s noodles. It was edible enough...but Michelin star?! Huzbo’s chicken wasn’t hot, he was not impressed. Genuinely cannot understand why it’s so highly rated.

@burgerjointsg they do the same, their veggie “burger” is just a portobello mushroom. Unlike most though, this place does it well. Really well! The mushroom is cooked to perfection and after the first bite I genuinely had to take a close look to make sure I wasn’t in fact eating meat. The burger is simple, with red onions, lettuce and tomato slices to accompany the mushroom, but everything works so well together. Don’t even get me started on the exquisite cheese fries that somehow aren’t greasy and overly rich despite being decadent. The chips you can tell have been hand cut and tastes of real potatoes. I have finally found a veggie burger option I would have again!

Didn’t know a new outlet had opened there but had been desperate to try one of their speciality veggie and vegan burgers 🌱 They have an extensive burger menu for meat eaters too, but for veggies there are about 8 options and there are even four vegan options! This is the Vegan ‘Juglans’ wheat patty with lingonberries, sprouting shoots and crunchy walnuts. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had let alone VEGAN. So, so, so delicious. I am going to have to go back to work my way through the rest!!!!! NB that’s a passion fruit fizz in the background.
