Prosciutto di parma and frutti de mare half and half. This was delightful! Came here three years ago and the pizzas are even better than I remembered. One of the best you can find in SG for sure.

Whole grain pancake with creamed spinach, duck rilette (sandwiched in between) and two sunny side ups. This was v filling and I was pleasantly surprised given the bad reviews on burpple. Altogether a relatively healthy choice amongst the sinful picks at slappy cakes.

This was SO good for $7! A friend and I needed a place to chill for several hours. We were heading to Asanoya bakery when we chanced upon this small cafe next to Kum Yan Methodist Church at Bras Basah MRT, and decided to stop by. Am I glad we did--lovely staff who were very apt at recommending their picks, cozy interior, fairly-priced food and coffee. This sandwich I ordered had a layer of hae bee hiam and another thicccc slab of egg mayo, both separated by some cucumber and tomato. Photos don't really do it justice. The egg mayo was SUPER SOLID - - not some canned shit but chunks of egg you could actually see and taste and just the right amount of mayo and seasonings to blend with it. This made for a very comforting teatime snack, especially on a drizzly day like today. Other things on the menu include some gorgeous looking tarts, soups, heftier-looking breads and an extensive drinks list. I'll defo be back!

Avo and eggs on toast for my first brunch back: simple, healthy fare after far too many months of oily fried rice and jianbings on exchange in China. Nothing really fancy or unique about the dish, but this was a decently sized portion which kept me fairly full till afternoon. Originally $16, but half the price with my #burpplebeyond subscription, and so very worth it! Excited to be able to post more consistently now that I'm back for good.

I love these waffles; been eating them with my family since I was in secondary school so many years ago and the taste hasn’t changed at all!! The MSW gelato is creamy without being too jelak, while the slightly-bitter chocolate provides a nice balance to the sweet durian. Genuinely comforting.

This was excellent! Really recommend to mushroom lovers like myself — solid thin crust and healthy-ish tasting, even for pizza.
