Tried out Limoncello the other day and they definitely didn’t disappoint! We were seated alfresco and absolutely loved the decor in the place; it was definitely the right choice for a romantic date out.

On top of that, the food was pretty good as well. Pictured is the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 ($28), and the choice of gluten free pasta was also available, which I opted for! Piled with a generous serving of fresh crabmeat in a light bisque sauce, their rendition was one of the better pastas I’ve had in Singapore so far. I’m definitely keen to come back and try their other dishes in the future.

Finally got my hands on these orh nee tarts from June Bakery! I’ve tried calling to reserve the tarts before as early as 7-8am but never succeeded 😂 Luckily, my estate was holding a group buy and I hopped on to order 😬

True to the hype, these tarts were buttery and crumbled beautifully in my mouth. I especially loved the orh nee filling, which was on point! Would definitely reorder again 😍

Another one of their signature dishes was the 𝐖𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢 ($28). The sauce consisted of a delightful mix of prawns, n’duja and red wine and was absolutely yummy.

We had the 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 ($24) which consisted of a ball of creamy burratina, topped with caramelized onions and pesto. Literally the perfect combination! We were so amazed at how every component of the dish melded beautifully together 🥰

Perfect way to kickstart your morning!

My partner went for the 𝐋𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐃’𝐀𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐮 instead and we enjoyed it a lot more!

I went for the 𝐋𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 but the sugar sphere was too cloyingly sweet for me 😂

Lastly, we had our desserts which started with a slice of complimentary chocolate tart.

The other main I had was the 𝐋𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐃’𝐈𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐲 “𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐭”, the heart of isigny salmon gently cooked & accompanied with civet sauce. The salmon heart was so ridiculously tender and almost had a dory-like texture.

We then moved onto our mains. For this, we chose the 𝐋𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐲, roasted challans duck breast from vendee with ginger-caramel pear.

I on the other hand, went for the 𝐋𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐢𝐱 𝐃𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭-𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐃’𝐄𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐲 𝐀 𝐋’𝐄𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞. This consisted of a single slow roasted scallop handpicked by a diver off the coast of Erquy. It was mindblowingly good - I’ve never had a scallop so tender and fresh.

We then had our Entrées served - my partner opted for the 𝐋𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐄𝐭 𝐋𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 [supplement of $40]. This dish was so beautifully plated, with alternating layers of mushrooms & black truffle on petals of roseval potatoes.
