Bouchot Mussels ($36 for 500gm)

The new kid on the block thats flexing ‘em mussels @btmmusselsandbar and trending as one of the goto places on #burpplebeyond so for $36, you get 1kg worth of french mussels done 2 ways served with a basket of crispy golden fries I couldn’t help dunking into the Thailandaises creamy gravy that’s zesty and tangy. There’s a total of 7 cooking styles and I’m delighted with the thai style. Also a must is to request for their thai mayo dip to go with the fries. So addictive we asked for a refill. Overall the mussels were fresh, sweet and succulent although I must admit preferring the local larger and plumper variant.

Fried Chicken Wings ($12)

Lipsmacking chicken wings coated with a mildly spicy korean sweet and savoury red pepper sauce from @lux_alfrescobar which is located right outside Nox, dine in the dark. Just a tad on the pricey side for 5 pieces but made more affordable because of #burpplebeyond! The Mountains of Taiwan cocktail I tried was pretty interesting and tasted great too.
