Being a huge fan of crayfish, I just had to order this and it turned out to be a rather good decision. The sauce was peppery which helped to reduce the fishy taste of the crayfish. The crayfish would be better if it were cooked to be more firm as I felt that it was a tad too soft

I thought this dish fell a little short of my expectations following the wonderful chilli crab scramble egg. The rosti was a little too over fried and it was too oily and way too hard. They were generous with the smoked salmon though but I might come back for other dishes instead.

An excellent choice for breakfast as the aroma of the truffle oil and chunky mushroom bits would enhance your appetite for the rest of the day. My continuous return to Grids and Circles has proved that they are indeed consistent in their bread as it's always so buttery and crispy.

Loved the super antique setting where you feel as though you are transported back to the Victorian times! The chicken wings are very well cooked as it was tender and juicy only that it lacked taste. However, the place was a little too hot.

While this mac and cheese looks like a plain Jane on the outside, it's actually rock star material. The cheese was really light and creamy which made the whole experience really pleasant. The addition of Parma ham also added more flavour to the macaroni allowing for an unforgettable experience. By the way, make sure to go early at night because it's a hotspot for those who work in the vicinity.

The lofty price for a shack burger which came up at $9.20 wasn't quite as justified as the beef patty came up a tad dry and was not as juicy as it was in my memory the last time I had it in New York. Ordered the strawberry shake which too lacked the richness of the milk base and it was way too sweet for my liking. Given the long wait time and price, I probably wouldn't make a trip back!!

One of my pet peeve is having to deal with servers who look the least interested to serve you and would simply wave you off easily. And that's what happened on a Friday night when a friend and I decided to give rookery a try. We had to gestures twice just to get someone who unwillingly came to wipe the table for us. Even though the crab pasta was pretty good with a generous helping of crab meat, I would not hesitate to avoid eateries with poor customer service because its precisely what defines a enjoyable dining experience!

The chicken felt a little too stiff given how it's cooked sous vide. It was also a little dry but the mash potatoes and corn on the side made up for it.

Each bite packs a punch of lemony zest thanks to the lime which goes well with the crispy exterior of the chicken wings. The chilli dip further accentuated the smooth tender chicken and made it feel less oily. A must order side from Wheeler yard in my opinion!!

Finally fish and chips that literally packs a punch as the batter of the fish was really crispy and crunchy which went well with the super soft and tender dory and barramundi. I personally preferred the dory as I felt that the freshness of the barramundi would have been better if it were steamed. In addition, the fried were exceptionally crispy. I wouldn't hesitate to come back just for this hearty goodness!

It was a pleasure surprise that this shop tucked along the Clarke quay streets got both the breaded fish and noodles right. The noodles was well drenched in Assam gravy which reminded me of the Assam laksa I had in Penang. The fish too was so soft that it literally falls off. Definitely the highlight of the shop!!

I was given crayfish instead of tiger prawn since the latter ran out of stock that day when I visited. Nonetheless, it was just as delectable as the crayfish was well seasoned with a tint of prawn essence. The pasta could be better as it was a tad too soft and soggy.
