This dish is the highlight and impressed us - it's like a treasure trove where the more you dig, the more gems appear, like juicy mussels, clams, prawns, cashew nuts and it's topped with pork floss and crispy fish skin!

The watermelon pops are a burst of flavour (all fried rice should go with this! - our new pov after tasting this, although we had initial doubts).

Ps. It's only served in watermelon bowl if you order for at least 2 pax (but we feel it's good to feed 4 pax especially if you're ordering other dishes) ~ $25 before gst

We also love every other dishes like Tomyum soup (which is spicier) and Red Curry with pork belly (very spicy)

Thumbs up! This place is currently having some external renovation hence it may not have a view of the beautiful quay side

Shiok mookata time on a chilly night - I enjoyed this spread of the set for 2, including samgyeopsal pork belly, pork, clams, prawns, all time favourite cheese tofu and more. All for $21! (Ps. Picture doesn't capture the full spread)

✨ Love the fish top up ($4) which boosts generous and fresh fish fillet chunks!

✨ I also recommend opting for the maggi for carb choice, where you can create your own tomyum broth.

✨ There's also two types of chili - salty and sweet, and they match well with the grilled pork slices.

It's a stone throw away from NEX and in a kopitiam under hdb

Perfect for family dinner, this place offers some mean Thai food, and we particularly liked their flavourful pineapple fried rice ($5), topped generously with floss.

Their other dishes: Tom yum soup ($8), Thai horfun ($5) came with lotsa fresh squid, clams, prawn. Lastly, the honey chicken ($12) was crispy and just the right level of sweet.

#supportlocal, especially during this phase 2HA. this place is perfect to cycle to if you're in the Bishan/Marymount area

Ooooo a good tomyum soup with a strong kick of sourness and spice is shiok indeed, and this place offers authentic cooked-from-scratch Thai food for super friendly prices. Note that it's indeed on the spicier side - but when paired with the green curry chicken, all is good :-)

Really kudos to this place for offering Thai food at pocket friendly prices - the fried sea bass ($9.90) and the crisp Thai omelette with minced chicken (~$7.50) was easily the highlight. While the sea bass says 3 flavours, the sweet sour sauce is the overwhelming one. It's extremely fresh and enough to feed more than the 2 of us.

I'll be back with my family :)

Famed for their boat noodles, and I understand why. The boat noodles was slurp-worthy and just so tender. The dark sauce is extremely savoury and sure to give you a sodium kick. & the pad thai is pretty decent too - though the beansprouts taste too fresh & the noods may clump together if you wait for the photos before eating.

Overall, good to meet my thai cravings, and especially worth it if you use burpple one for one (~$12.30 for 2)

I liked how its broth is slightly toned down and less peppery than the bkk one i remembered (where i struggled to get by) and reminiscent of bakkuteh. My favourite part got to be how the roast pork remains ever so crispy in the soup, they must have mastered the magic how. The fish sausage and pork belly is good too (no innards for me)

The chefs learnt this from the bkk yaowarat kuaychap. In an air-conned setting and with thai music playing the background, its a comfy setting to enjoy this dish - esp come supper time. I came here during lunch and its spacious :)

$5 for regular

The spiciness of thai basil pork rice always get to me but shiok!! Took Lae Dee seems to have increased their prices, because this is a net of $6.20. The basic basil pork rice is $5 now instead of $3.80 previously. Also, the egg add on of $1.20 didnt meet our expectation too. Its deep fried but not too tasty. Would have preferred a flowy egg instead.

At the corner of food junction, theres this JJ market thai food which serves a pretty mean plate of Pad thai. Enjoyed every single mouth of it with the qq glass noodles and wokhei eggs. ($5.90, 10% off with passioncard)

It's whipped with a wokhey taste with the eggs and the prawns. Delicious and definitely worth it with #burpplebeyond's 1 for 1!!

V interesting that this place features Thai food from the different regions (and even sell all their handmade sauces!! Like fish sauce for $2.50). I like the idea of a Thai fast food place with DIY noodles and curry combi. Had the manaman curry with beef, and the beef chunks were great, though the soy curry felt alil too sweet. Will be keen to try the coconut chicken curry one day too. Deals at a steal at City Hall anyway :)
