I had pretty low expectations for this dish but it turned out pretty well. Not the best one I’ve ever tasted but the sauce was creamy yet had a tinge of spice that coated the crispy chicken to give a decent salted egg dish. However, the pieces were a bit small for my liking.
For the smallest portion, this was still quite a lot to share and everyone was satisfied with the amount we got. The texture is the same as what you could get at some caifan stalls but it’s definitely tastes better and less salty.
Crispy, juicy, satisfying fried chicken made fresh! Found another zichar place to frequent now. If you avoid this fish dishes and come in a group, it can be pretty affordable.
Stationed right next to the famous Michelin star Bak Chor Mee, this is a stall that serves a pretty good meal at pretty affordable prices. The chicken cutlet I ate remained pretty crispy even though we wait a while for everyone’s food to arrive. There is a selection of sides to choose from eg fries, potato salad, spaghetti and garden veggies. A good place for a meal if you are looking for somewhere cheap!
