Hawker Delights
For the price, this is a lot of food given. It gives a very homly feeling, fills your belly adequately and satisfies your cravings. Note that the chilli may be spicy for some people.
The roasted meat here is done well. The meat is chewy and the skin is roasted to a perfect crisp that is easy to chew. Would be back here again!
The chicken wings are fried fresh, as is the egg. The chicken has a very tasty batter with juicy and tender meat on the inside. It really does satisfy any fried chicken cravings you have.
This stall gives a taste like home. It isn’t too hot when it is served and is still pretty filling. I enjoyed this and would get it again.
I generally enjoy a more sour tasting lor mee so I added more vinegar and it was just nice. The ingredients themselves were plenty and fried to a perfect crisp that made this meal pleasant. My only gripe was that the fish was a bit overcooked so it was a bit tough.
The portion here is pretty generous. Imagine a prawn mee that is dry with pork ribs and loaded with a lot a lot of chilli. This is my go to at this hawker centre. It is one of my favourites.
They close early at 6.30pm though.
Finally got around to trying this burger! For the days when you know you can afford to be a little bit more sinful, this burger is meant for you. The pork belly was done nicely with the crispy skin and yet the juicy and tender meat instead, paired nicely with the english mustard sauce. One bite into it and it left me craving for another.
PSA. Please be prepared to defend your food against pigeons.
It’s a bit of a walk but it is worth it. Found in a pretty modern hawker centre, the dishes are prepared pretty quickly and the portions are really generous. Not to mention the chicken wings are freshly fried to give a extra crisp on top of the already fragrant har cheong kai flavour.
