Our go to place for korean ginseng chicken. Tried the pork trotters for the first time and not really to our liking. The dish was quite dry and meat was not very tender. Shall stick to our usual order, the ginseng chicken and the seafood pancake next time.😅 Nonetheless, it was a pretty good and satisfying meal! Thumbs up!👍🏻

On my first visit, I tried the shrimp paste non spicy flat noodle soup ($12.80++). I thought the flat noodle will be like banmian, but nope it was really flattt, it is like meeheonkway but slim and flat and in a long flat piece. Comparing this shrimp ball and that from Le shrimp Ramen, the latter is more fragrant and has tobiko to spice things up. There was alottt of veg (but wasted on someone here who doesn't eat a single piece of veg 🤭). Had dinner at @Sikdang.SG, a one month old casual Korean restaurant in Tanjong Pagar which specialises in hotpot! This huge serving ($29) can definitely feed 4 people at least. Comforting meal at the end of yet another busy work week. TGIF everyone!

Had a hearty Korean-Chinese feast at O.bba Jjajang last week! We ordered jjajangmyeon (black soybean sauce noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles soup), sweet and sour pork, deep fried chicken in hot pepper sauce and kimchi pancake, and there was more than enough food to go around for 5 pax🤤 Although it was a little pricey ($27.80 per pax), the jjajangmyeon was quite tasty and satisfying. While the sweet and sour pork could have been crunchier, the deep fried chicken in hot pepper sauce was spot on yummy and addictive - it goes really well with the jjajangmyeon👍🏻 Bonus points for the wooden cubicles that are pretty comfortable and quiet:)!
