Madness For Milo

Flavour of the week (2-7 Feb)

Comes with two layers of milo balls, then drizzled in chocolate sauce, dusted with milo powder and topped with a Milo cookie

Filled with milo kosong gao ganache and then topped with milo powder
.

Made using moist chocolate sponge, milo ganache and milo nuggets
.

This was a Wednesday (2 Dec) special flavour
.
Made using thick milo gelato and milo shortbread
.

Fried popcorn chicken drizzled with condensed milk and then coated in milo powder
.
I opt for sambal belacan mayo
.
As soon the dish reached my table, I was greeted by a strong milo aroma which is pleasantly good
.
In my mind, I thought the popcorn chicken is gonna be tough. But surprisingly,the popcorn chicken is quite tender
.
However taste-wise, the popcorn chicken is relatively sweet; probably from the condensed milk. And even after I dipped them in the sambal mayo, I still got a very sweet milky aftertaste
.

A base of Milo ice-cream with in-house fudge cake folded in

Milo flavour was really rich and the fudge cake added some bite and chocolatey depth

Made using milo and condensed milk

As we all know, the milo from Milo van is richer and tastier
.
True to its description, I got a really rich and intense Milo ice-cream
.
And the addition of condensed milk taste similar to the milo we drank in the Milo vans
.

A bed of fried banana donut bites layered with condensed milk and nuts, then dusted with a large scoop of Milo powder
.
Fried banana donut bites were hot and crispy. And the banana flavour stood out after a few bites
.
However, I couldn’t really taste the milo as the sweetness from the condensed milk was way too overpowering

Layers of dense chocolate sponge, rich vanilla mousse and topped with heaps of Milo powder
.

A chocolate sable tart filled with Nougatine pieces and chocolate ganache, topped with milo nuggets and sprinkled with milo powder and gold dust
.
The chocolate ganache was rich and thick, whereas the milo nuggets added a bit of crunch
.
And the addition of gold dust added a decadent feel to the tart
.
Even thought this milo-flavoured tart is a little bit on the sweet side and a bit heaty, it has all the familiar flavours that would hit off and reminisce to any Milo fans

Digestive biscuit gave a nice crumbly base to the cheesecake
.
The Milo cream cheese added a rich malty taste and soft texture
.
And lastly milo nuggets provided a good amount of crunch to the cheesecake
.
