had the satay chicken & spicy chicken wraps with burpple 1-for-1. when i went there were only these 2 options available (no sandwiches or beef), but at a total price of $12 for 2 sets, it's an absolute steal! the chicken was flavourful and the nacho chips were highly addictive. the cafe is small but rather cozy, with neon light decorations adding to the ambience. would definitely recommend checking it out especially with the 1-for-1 deal!

great place with amazing food! if you love skewers, this place has a wide variety of options for you to choose from. however, i would recommend giving the broccoli a miss as it was extremely oily and to skip the tofu skin as well given the tough and dry texture.
things we particularly enjoyed were the potatoes, pork belly and enoki-bacon wrap, which were amazing and would definitely recommend getting!

The first thing that strikes you about the restaurant is the amazing ambience and decor of the place! The entire experience was further elevated by the friendly & knowledgeable staff, especially Yumi who served us. She gave us great recommendations regarding the dishes to order and the special “hacks” to enjoy each dish to the fullest.

We ordered the Truffle Tofu, along with the Hakka Pork Belly & Eggs Fried Rice. The Truffle Tofu was a fragrant and special dish of generous portion, which remained crispy throughout the entire meal, much to our delight! Pro tip is to ask for truffle oil on the side for dipping, as the tofu themselves do not have much truffle taste. The Hakka Pork Belly & Eggs Fried Rice was especially flavourful, and was fried to perfection. The pork was rather unique flavour as well, similar to a braised meat marinate. It had a crispy exterior but juicy interior, making it a great complement to the fried rice!

bought the chicken burger & hawaiian pizza with burpple 1-for-1 for dinner. the ambience is great especially with the sunset and nature surrounding the restaurant! the chicken burger is of a generous serving and flavourful, definitely worth getting! however, the hawaiian pizza is rather mediocre and tasted like microwaved pre-made ones, so would recommend giving that a miss instead.
would definitely come back again for their burgers and the amazing location!

Ordered the Crab Meat Tagliolini which was recommended by the waitress. The tomato sauce was hearty, comforting, and creamy, and a generous amount of crab meat was shredded and mixed throughout the dish, with some mild heat from black pepper. However, pasta was slightly softer than my liking. Good ambience with friendly and accomodating staff.

ordered the Number 1, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and curly fries. the Number 1 had a juicy beef patty which was fresh and not too oily. the buttermilk fried chicken was thick and nicely fried, though it was a little dry for my liking. the curly fries were delicious, crispy and served hot. worth it especially with the Chope 1-for-1 deal during sales, recommended to give the beef burger a try but perhaps give the buttermilk fried chicken a miss instead!

Ordered the Deep-fried Tofu in Dashi Gravy, Rosti Mentai and Buta Shogayaki Don, thoroughly enjoyed all 3 dishes! The tofu was topped with bonito flakes and seaweed, which complemented the flavourful and light dashi well. The Rosti Mentai was my favourite out of the 3, with generous mentaiko sauce torched to perfection enabling the smokey flavour to really come through - definitely a must-try for mentaiko lovers! Although the Buta Shogayaki Don is listed as a mini don, the restaurant served a generous portion of pork which had a great balance of sweet and savoury flavours.

Special mention to the ambience in the cosy space, which elevated the dining experience together with the impressive menu design.

Ordered the Cajun Chicken with truffle fries and buttered corn as sides. The truffle fries is a premium side (+$3) but it’s definitely worth the upgrade as it’s both a generous portion and thoroughly infused with truffle oil. The chicken itself was enormous in size, with a thicker crust than expected but still crispy, enabling the meat to remain juicy. Although the cajun spices were rather mild, the sheer portion of the dish made it worth for the price.
Also ordered the Apple Blueberry Crumble for dessert, which was a great combination of warm fruits with cold vanilla ice cream. The crumble provided a nice textural contrast to the softened fruits as well. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I personally appreciated.
Special shoutout to the excellent staff, each and every individual was friendly, making the dining experience a pleasant one!

the first thing that catches your eye upon stepping into the cafe is the striking decor, made into an optical illusion of a 2D atmosphere. ordered the truffle carbonara and duck pasta, which were both in relatively large portions. however, the truffle oil was just poured onto the pasta rather than infused within, resulting in an oily dish that was just average. nothing particularly stood out regarding both dishes, though the decor was the saving grace of the visit.

ate this earlier in July this year, bought the Old School & Teriyaki Chicken bowls. extremely affordable with burpple 1-for-1 and was a delicious meal! especially enjoyed the truffle omelette which was light, fluffy and infused with aromatic truffle oil. would love to try out the other bowls too!

bought the fried pierogi & smoked duck dumplings, along with sichuan & braised pork noodles completed with the longan osmanthus pu-erh & passion fruit ginger soda.
all the items were excellent and lived up to the hype! especially enjoyed the dumplings and the sichuan noodles were surprisingly flavourful. the longan osmanthus pu-erh would be my drink of choice and would definitely satisfy those looking for a milder drink. would definitely recommend visiting!

had a very pleasant experience dining at this warm and cozy cafe! the decor was extremely adorable with their tiramisu hero mascot plastered on the walls 😊
we ordered the Big Breakfast and Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta (total ~$21 with burpple), with both satisfying our cravings! the potato puffs, fluffy scrambled eggs and delicious buttered buns were the main highlights of the Big Breakfast (9/10) - definitely worth going back for. however, the pasta fell a little short in terms of balance of the sauce as we hoped that the garlic butter flavour could be more pronounced (7/10).
overall a great experience with burpple 1-for-1!
