Interesting dish but never again! Super salty and gimmicky.. more on the sweet side than savoury, only savoury flavour was salt and MSG!!๐Ÿ˜‚ egg was a nice addition though.

I liked many things about this plate. Served fresh and hot, the fries were extremely crispy and fun to eat. The size of each fry was also done right, making it an extremely appropriate snack. The spam fries were extremely salty - which was a good thing at the start, because it was so savoury, but increasingly it became overwhelmingly unbearable at the end that you would probably need water with every fry you eat๐Ÿ˜‚ I liked the spicy mayo dip that came with it as well! Overall a Super savoury and fun snack to have๐Ÿ˜Š

Somehow stumbled across an advertisement for Delish, a subsidiary of Chernsanyi on Facebook, and it looked too good not to try! There were raving reviews about the texture, and I gotta back them up and say that it was indeed as soft as hotel pillows.๐Ÿ˜œ Iโ€™m not a huge fan of bread in general, but I really liked the donut aspect of this. For the cream though, not so much. I felt that the matcha flavour wasnโ€™t strong, and had subtle hints of kaya taste. The passionfruit mango was on the sour side, and requires acquired taste to appreciate. I did like the chocolate flavour though. It may not be extremely rich, but it is not too sweet, which makes it a rather safe choice to go with the soft donuts. Glad I managed to try them! I donโ€™t know if Iโ€™ll ever return to them, but if I do need to cater for parties, these soft pillow donuts may be a good option!๐Ÿ˜Š

The shop has different box options priced differently, and only offer island wide delivery at $6. You can find them at Delish on Facebook, or @welovedelish on Instagram, and then contact them via WhatsApp.

Loved that it was shoestring fries, and that it came with an aroma (not to some) of truffle, and a special homemade black truffle mayo sauce which served really great as a dip. However, the portion for $17 was really not worth it, and when served, the fries were extremely oily to the point that most were on the soggier side, rather than crisp. Also, not gonna lie but it was a weird presentation of the truffle fries, but nothing much of a concern I Guess. I still polished them all up, because I enjoyed the good balance in flavour - the truffle and salt.

Pan fried gyoza that wasnโ€™t crispy anymore after microwaving. But apart from that, gyoza skin was thin and filling was pretty juicy. I felt that it was slightly to the pricier side compared to their other options but.. always glad to try new things.

I bought this because a fellow shopper told me this was his favorite. He spoke with so much conviction that I couldnโ€™t help buy this to try! True enough it was pretty delicious with a strong miso flavour. The noodles are well textured and different from the usual Maggie youโ€™d get. I added some chilli padi to make it spicy because.. I just needed an additional layer of flavour to the overwhelmingly salty miso. Glad Iโ€™m tried it, but I honestly donโ€™t really feel compelled to buy it again because itโ€™s pretty expensive for a cup noodle (I usually just spend $1-$2 on Maggie or myojo๐Ÿ˜‚). Love to try the other instant noodles donki has to offer though!

This packet contains 2 servings of ramen to be cooked. The soup is a tonkotsu flavoured broth with black garlic oil. Surprised at how delicious it is! The soup was thick and on the creamier side. And like all other instant noodles, this was really salty. But $3.30 for 2 portions and this quality - I feel like it is super worth it. Although it doesnโ€™t come with ingredients, itโ€™s up to you to add anything you want to make it a full meal, or ass nothing if you just want it as a comfort snack. I added hanjuku eggs to elevate the deliciousness. Canโ€™t wait to try other flavours๐Ÿœ

I love eggs but Iโ€™m not a fan of hard boiled eggs; so when I actually have them, they gotta be the hanjuku, ramen flavour egg kinda. For $2.50, 7-11 gives me these hanjuku eggs (2 in a packet) with the perfect yolk texture, something youโ€™d probably find of the same standard in a Japanese ramen shop. Itโ€™s soaked in a Japanese style marinade which feels very much like light soya sauce. I often donโ€™t eat it by itself, but I do know itโ€™s possible to eat it and drink the marinade as well๐Ÿคฏ but I personally like to add this as a complement with a hot cup of instant noodles, or any other rice dish! I actually appreciate 7-11 so much for the accessibility to such amazing small finger food!

Reviewing this since itโ€™s limited edition! I donโ€™t know how to begin describing this - potato nuggets wouldnโ€™t be enough to encapsulate how weird it was. I felt like it was in between a fry and a hashbrown - not wanting to be a fry, but wanting to be a hashbrown, consequently failing terribly at both. There was a thin layer of batter surrounding the mashy texture of potato, making it an odd combination to me. I guess there is fun eating cutely minion-shaped potatoes. Iโ€™m not afraid to admit that I was excited to try this. But perhaps this excitement translated to more disappointment. Nonetheless, it is limited edition, so give it a go if youโ€™re interested! It wonโ€™t be something you or I will regret trying; but for me, I wonโ€™t be sentimental once this minion potatoes are gone.

While some may complain how the โ€˜skinโ€™ of this ondeh ondeh is thick, I absolutely appreciated it. The texture of the โ€˜skinโ€™ was amazing, soft yet chewy at the same time, while encapsulating an oozy, thick gula Melaka filling. Best part? It wasnโ€™t too sweet. I canโ€™t stand ondeh ondehs that are too thin, and fillings which feel like theyโ€™re just made of sugar, without any real substance. So this was really worth the experience, and to me, worth the price.

It is only after eating this croissant that I understand the hype behind it. There is so much authenticity to its flavour, and generosity to its filling. The kinder bueno croissant was so decadent, the hazelnut praline ganache would make oneโ€™s experience feel luxurious. It takes skill to eat, for its oozy-ness would just lead to a gooey mess! And I must warn that this is a pastry that is definitely for the sweet tooth - and Iโ€™m not one. Not only is the filling sweet, the croissant comes with a sweet glaze. Sweet on sweet just gives way too much sweetness, and it was genuinely more than I can handle. To be fair to Brotherbird, the croissant itself was excellent and the generous ganache is nothing to complain about, but this flavour is really catered for one that has a high threshold for sweetness. Definitely worth the experience for me, and itโ€™s excellent for the sweet pastry itโ€™s supposed to be. But I know better, and next time, Iโ€™ll pass on this.

One of the best Iโ€™ve eaten! This was one delicious savoury, yet slightly sweet croissant. The filling was a slice of honey baked ham, together with melty, mozzarella cheese. It went well with the slightly sweet glazed croissant crust, which was flakey and crisp. The inner texture of the croissant was also slightly chewy, giving a good fluff to the overall pastry.
