The best thosai ever!! It’s crispy and the masala potatoes are so fluffy and delicious. The dips at the side are also really tasty and I mopped up every bit of it before I could even realise what was happening!
Quite possibly the best butter chicken in Singapore, this small pot of gravy comes with 4-5 medium-sized chunks of chicken thigh. The gravy is extremely rich and thick, yet I am able to discern the taste of butter, spices and yoghurt used to concoct this stew. We enjoyed the butter chicken so much, we asked for an extra serving of gravy!
I really like their paneer (cottage cheese) as it is thick and creamy with some bite to it. However, I felt the masala gravy was a tad too strong and didn't complement the paneer as well as palak gravy (spinach) would.
This was a lot milder as compared to the other curries, so unfortunately I wasn't able to appreciate the spice mix as much. I'm sure it would be very tasty if you have it with a clean palate!
We opted for medium level of spiciness and it ticked all the boxes - the prawns were large and succulent, and the mix of spices perfectly aromatic. It definitely needs a carb to accompany it though, as eating the paste on its own would be waayyy too jelat.
Booked under eatigo, which offered 50% off all mains so the bill would've been much more expensive without the discount. Anyway, the food was INCREDIBLE and I would say that even paying full price, you would be getting very fair value. The spices in the three main dishes we ordered were extremely aromatic without being overbearing. The fish masala had more textural variety than the creamy butter chicken and palek paneer, reminding me a bit like sambal but less oily and aggressive and with more crunch. The naans were delicious as well but let's be real, their main function is to be a vessel for the pots of delicious gravies 😂
Service was impeccable as well, as the staff were friendly, helpful and checked in on us to make sure we liked the food.
