One word to describe this cake: m o i s t! The bakes looked so lovely sitting in the display we couldn’t help but choose one as dessert as an addition to our brunch and coffee. A very yummy butter cake, with a delightful topping of honeyed mascarpone and the crunch of pistachios to balance out the richness. Nothing beats catching up over coffee at a cafe on a calm weekday morning.

Car pics are reserved for food that I’m super excited to eat and cannot wait till I get home to try them. Finally snagged one these puffy doughnuts after all the hype… and it is worth it. Look at the banana cream oozing out from my finger just lightly resting on it! Rolled in sugar, it is crunchy on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside - both from the pastry and the generous cream. Can’t wait to try more of their flavours!

Creamier will always have my heart because it won my waffles & ice cream hunt 5 years back as a secondary school student, this was when Creamier was still a little cosy nook in the heart of TPY! Creamier keeps things fun with new flavours - when I heard about their collaboration flavour with @bakerybrera, a really awesome down to earth bakery, I couldn’t wait to try it.

Green tea, lemon curd and surprise bits of mille feuille, the intensity of the lemon curd took us by surprise (in a lovely way) with a hint of matcha. This one is definitely for lemon curd lovers!

The champagne ice cream!! The tart was perfectly crumbly and wasn’t too sweet. I liked the added touch of toasted almonds which provided a nice crunch. That champagne ice cream though 🤤

The cake has the texture of most vegan cakes. It is dense - best enjoyed in smaller bites and can be a bit of a mouthful especially with the generous topping of candied hazelnuts. But once you get past that, it satisfies any chocolate cravings with its richness. Pardon the slightly melted hazelnut ice cream, the phone eats first 😅
