Love For Kwa-sons 🥐🇨🇵

Delightfully fluffy and light, the flavours were subtle but yet melded together wonderfully. My favourite parts were the crispy, cheesy edges!

Also, please give their Palmiers a try, they tasted like a mini version of Kouign-Amann, crispy, sweet and bite-sized! Super addictive, I should have gotten another tub of these! 😆

𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 🍫($5.00) - The hidden star and our fave!!! Loved that it was delightfully flavourful with just the right amount of sweetness.

𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙠𝙤 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 🦐 ($6.50) - I loveeee savoury food, and TBH, this was the MAIN reason why I headed to @brotherbird_bakehouse in the first place! I was so surprised when I bit into actual chunks of prawns in the filling, and not just a creamy blend of mentaiko sauce as I was expecting! 😱♥️♥️ I liked this, but felt it wasn't as mind-blowing as I had hoped.. Perhaps we were too blown away by the Rocher Croissant instead! 😝

Topped with sugar coated whole pistachios and filled with creamy 𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚̀𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙖̂𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙚̀𝙧𝙚 with toasty 𝙝𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚, this signature croissant from @aliceboulangeriesg
is truly a magnificent sight to behold.😍

Sadly, I didn't eat this beautiful 𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 ($7.00) the day of purchase, and warming it up slightly in the airfryer the next day caused the 𝙝𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚 to get a little sticky and messy to eat, which kinda broke my heart 🤭💔 Nevertheless, bites of this light flaky croissant embellished with 𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 and 𝙝𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡𝙣𝙪𝙩 made me a happy girl again!

Although kinda pricey at $7/pc, I'd say it's definitely worth a try! Thank you @tabaojiak for delivering these beauties once again! 😘🍫🥐🥐🥐

Casual Sundays under a beautiful blue sky, and a @konditorisg 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 ($3.90) in hand. 🥰🥐

The croissants here are on the light and crispy side, and offer a wonderful crunch with each satisfying bite. Although it can get pretty sweltering hot in the snaking queue here, I promise every bite's worth it! 😋♥️

Lazy Sundays with a @tiongbahrubakery 𝙆𝙤𝙪𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙣 😍🥐... Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience this time round as the croissant wasn't heated up properly, and was served with a chewy texture, instead of the flaky sugary orgasmic layers that I was expecting... 🥺💔

Hopefully the next time we visit, the croissants will be as good as I remembered them to be! 🤭🙏🏻

Glazed in sweet 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚🍫, filled with 𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙢 💚 and topped with 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙨🌹, this lovingly crafted work of art is definitely for those with a sweet tooth.

Personally, I found that the 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 overpowered the nutty flavours of 𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤, which was the main draw for us. I mean, we DO love ourselves some 𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤. 😋😋

The very affable lady owner always has a short chat with us during every visit to the café, and mentioned that the sweetness level is due to the 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 used, and cannot be adjusted. But she did take our feedback, and said that she would let her bakers know. :) How sweet is that? I am definitely looking forward to the new revamp of their 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 🍵 which will be launched soon!!! 😍👏🏻🥐

It's the weekend!!! 😍❤️ Riding on the resurging popularity of the local 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒐 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 (𝑶𝒓𝒉 𝑵𝒆𝒆) flavours, that means it's time for the 𝑵𝑬𝑾 @bakerybrera 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚-𝙗𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙤 𝙈𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙞 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩 🥐 ($6.20/PC)!

Warmed in the toaster for about 5 minutes, this baby surprised me with the generous amount of filling literally spilling out of those beautiful flakey layers. 😋🤤🤤

That ooze was just love at first sight, and I can see why everyone flocks to this little neighbourhood bakery for their bakes... Every single bite is made out of love, and I will definitely be back again for more!
