These were well flavoured and were fried to a crispy goodness indeed. The portion was generous for the price too.

The lu rou fan was tasty with tender bits of meat served on rice and I liked the pickles added to the dish too!

The pancake was crispy and light with egg in it, going well with the dipping sauce provided to add flavour.

Visited @breakfasthola and we had their pancake with luncheon meat and cheese, lu rou fan and their milk teas. My favourite item was the pancake which was stuffed generously with ingredients. The lu rou fan was tasty too and I liked how they added a runny egg to it instead of a hard boiled one. I liked the milk tea as well along with how it wasn't too sweet! Can't wait to try other items during my next visit 🤤

You can get Thai snacks from @baankanomthai.sg in golden mile supermarket. I got kanom krok in both the pandan and sweet potato flavours, kanom tokyo and their coconut pancakes. The kanom krok was a bit soggy probably due to it being kept immediately when still hot but it was still fragrant and had a chewy texture. I preferred the pandan flavour because it was a lot more fragrant than the sweet potato one. The coconut pancakes were yummy too, I liked both black glutinous rice and sweet corn flavours. The kanom tokyo wasn't really to my liking, the pancakes were too sweet and too thick for me 😅 You can pre-order so you don't have to queue for long and it guarantees you your snacks.

I got fried sweet potato balls and fried banana from the neighbouring stall in Golden Mile Supermarket too. The Sweet Potato Balls were crispy and chewy, just a tad too sweet but still good!

The salted crispy chicken was delicious with each piece being juicy and truly crispy indeed 😌

@wantfood.taiwanese is a relatively new place near Chinatown and I enjoyed their food and the homey atmosphere (though it was a bit hot inside 😅). I had the beef noodles which had a generous portion of meat, springy noodles and a light flavoured broth.

Have been eating at @isshinmachi.sg a lot more recently since they opened more outlets near me. Had the Isshin Deluxe Dry Noodles with Guan Miao.Noodles which come with many ingredients like fried egg, pickles, pork chop and braised pork too!

I like Isshin Machi's Kimchi and Shrimp Noodles with their signature Guan Miao Noodles. The soup is tasty with a generous serving of kimchi, the shrimp is fresh and it comes with a runny fried egg! 😋
