tried the mango purple rice yogurt and strawberry smoothie !! absolutely loved the drinks as it was thick and indulgent but also healthy!! the yogurt added a tangy flavour to the drink making the drink really refreshing!! i had zero percent sugar for both so i could taste the freshness of the fruits!! the purple rice bits added a nice texture to chew on!

Located at second level of scotts square - came across this sophisticated looking restaurant and decided to try it out~ the food was not only plated beautifully but also tasted really good! the flavours were unique but also blended well with each other. i had the Scallop Risotto and the Truffle Chicken Ballotine. The former had a strong and fresh seafood taste and the Hokkaido scallops were huge and succulent! It was also topped with caramelised apples, giving a sweet tinge to the savoury goodness. As for the latter, the chicken was so tender, I wished there were more! Their coffee also tasted amazing - not only are they a fancy restaurant but their coffee quality does not lag behind! as we were paying for the food, i saw the hermes boxes at the corner and realised why this place looked so luxurious 😅 turns out all tableware used are hermes - a classy surprise!

this place has really nice ambience, great for a special occasion, and is still affordable. the buffet spread is huge and certain items are grilled fresh (meat and grilled bananas). the grilled chicken was very seasoned well and hawaiian pizza was really good too! the small bites like sweet potato fries and fried squid were really addictive as well! as for desserts, i really love the grilled bananas!! the caramelised layer of sugar at the top made the bananas on the another level - my personal favourite part of the buffet!

had the batang crayfish soup with prawns, dory seafood soup, red grouper seafood soup and a side of ginger braised duck. all the seafood and minced meat tastes really fresh and favourful! the chilli also has a nice tangy kick, goes well with the rich flavours of the soup and seafood. the ginger braised duck was tender and goes well with rice. 10/10 would come back again !!

this cafe is located in a rather secluded area of cck so it takes us out of the hustle and bustle of the city and into a relaxing mood. had the Torched Aburi Prawn Pasta which was really flavourful. got the grilled angus beef burger with curly fries and salad sides as well - the meat patty was pretty juicy! as for desserts and drinks, we got the matcha tart and smokey oak mocha! the ambience here is so relaxing and chill with live music (we came on a saturday). plus, cafe is pet-friendly too! so you can bring your furry ones here and enjoy some live music together.

chanced upon these keto-friendly cafe which was just a 2 minutes walk away jalan besar mrt! ordered the grilled redfish chimichurri as appetisers - fish was really fresh and comes with some greens and topped with a refreshing chimichurri sauce! as for mains, we got the seafood oat stir fried konjac noodles laksa which tasted really flavourful and the texture of the noodles felt like thick and bouncy vermicelli noodles! we also got pan seared salmon with oat risotto - absolutely delicious!! the salmon was cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and soft on the inside! staff was also really friendly and helpful! overall service was great, ambience was cosy and food was delicious (and healthy!!)!

there were so many unique combinations that really made them stand out from other yoghurt/bbt stores!! love love love the mango purple rice and passion fruit yo-tea was really refreshing!! got the taro yoghurt with pearls from their taro series which was really indulgent but so good too omg

a 10 minutes walk away from Tai Seng MRT, this seafood gem is not to be missed! highly recommend the abalone poached rice that comes with a strong prawn-based soup topped with egg floss and crispy rice! love the flavours and textures of this dish so much! the onglet dish blew me away with its tender steak and unique sunchoke cream sauce!! also tried the white shrimp and soft shell crab which were really fresh! overall, would definitely come back again to try their other seafood dishes!

Chanced upon this cozy Japanese restaurant! Had a comforting bowl of hot udon, with a flavourful clear broth and noodles cooked to perfection. dig into the gyudon next and wow even though it was a simple dish of beef and rice, the thinly sliced beef were packed with loads of flavour and so tender! i must say, the real star of the show was the sashimi platter, featuring mouthwatering salmon and tuna (and one more which i forgot the name to :’)) Each piece was so fresh, it practically melted in my mouth. highly recommend!!

just a few minutes walk away from botanic gardens. managed to chance upon this gem and it exceeded my expectations! had the burrata caprese which was refreshing to the palate. paired it with the sourdough bread and butter (pretty addictive!). for the mains, i had the wagyu steak which was well seasoned and cooked, beef ragu spaghetti and grilled broccolini. the grilled broccolini was drizzled with this spicy and savoury sauce which was really really good! ended off the lovely meal with a decadent classic new york cheesecake topped with strawberries. overall love love this place. the ambience was great, food was phenomenal , service was excellent. 100% would come back here again!!

loved the ambience of this place! had the fish n chips and beef steak with mash and fried dough as sides. i really enjoyed the mash - has a good amount of butter and salt. the fried bread side was also really tasty and unique! goes great with the steak and mash.
the fish and chips were also really tasty with a crispy outer mouthfeel and fluffy on the inside. it also pairs great with the sauces on the side. make sure to order a pint of guinness to savour with the food! truly a great way to spend quality time with friends over good food and beer~
