Gotta say we were quite split between the classic signatures and new flavours. My personal favourite remains the fresh green pepper fish fillet but the other flavours are pretty good too! ๐Ÿ˜‹

This spicy dry boneless fish fillet is one of the new flavours! Received many compliments from the table ๐Ÿ”ฅ

We got this as part of the weekday executive lunch set that comes with an individual portion of fish, rice and drink. That being said, we did find the serving size to be very generous so you can also consider ordering this to share!

Had a taste of the new flavour - fish fillet with sauerkraut ๐ŸŸ This is part of the new executive lunch menu, which offers boneless fish fillet + rice + drinks from 11.30am to 4.30pm on weekdays. Found this to be quite a hassle-free dining experience and itโ€™s quite worth!

For those who canโ€™t take spice, opt for the soy sauce grilled fish fillet. Topped with carrot and cucumber cubes, the non-spicy rendition of the fish also comes with cabbage and beancurd skin. With the weekday executive set meal, youโ€™re also entitled to rice and soft drinks ๐Ÿฅค

Tried the newly-launched executive set meal that comes with individual portion of boneless fish fillet, rice and soft drink. Each set is supposed to feed 1 person but honestly there was so much food it felt enough to easily feed 2 people. The classic Fresh Green Pepper Grilled Fish Fillet remains my favourite item at Tanyu, though I have to admit the new flavours were pretty good too!

Our favourite dish turned out to be this addictive hot dish. Served with a sour piquant soup base, the velvety sliced fish is poached in a rich broth that is mildly spicy. Donโ€™t miss out on this when you visit! ๐Ÿ’š

Can you take the heat? ๐Ÿ”ฅ Put your spice tolerance to the test at the โœจnewly-openedโœจ Sichuan restaurant located at Capital Square. Slightly numbing, the beef tripe came with a mix of prawns, crunchy vegetable strips and taiwanese sausages.

We had the nourishing chicken soup with cordyceps. For those who prefer a more intimate dining experience, opt for the private rooms

One of their signature dishes, the shrimp balls are deep-fried till golden brown and topped with potato shavings ๐Ÿค With the smoky dry ice display, this is definitely an insta-worthy dish ๐Ÿ“ธ

Another top pick is the fall-apart tender pork belly ๐Ÿ– Infused with aromatics, the pork belly is braised first then steamed and presented atop chopped preserved vegetables. Traditionally served during celebrations like Chinese New Year, me and my dining companions enjoyed this dish โœจ
