Another popular stall for brown sugar pearl milk here in Taiwan is 幸福堂. Felt that this paled in comparison to 陈三鼎, which was lighter but way more drinkable, fragrant and had super soft chewy pearls. 幸福堂’s on the other hand, was a lot more milky, creamy and thick - unfortunately, it got jelak very quickly just after a few mouths. Texture of the pearls weren’t as consistent as well. 陈三鼎 is still the best!

This is Bao Xing Fen Yuan, where hot tapioca balls (with a red bean wrapped within) is mixed with a cold ice shaving desserts with mixed beans, fragrant sesame and smooth tau hway. Hot + Cold. Smoooooth!
