Mama's Kent is currently located near NUH.
Inside a mini foodcourt called Eureka taste.

Read many positive google reviews and rating was fairly high. Decided to have lunch here since I was nearby.

Was very undecided on what to get, as all the food looks so good. My mind changes after every order that someone In the front of the queue takes away on their tray.

When auntie ask for my order, I was still undecided, out of nervous haste, I just blurted out to order the curry chicken.

Curry was very good, thick and flavourful and was slightly spicy as well. Chicken portion was rather good, and chicken tasted fresh and tender. Generous amount of potatoes as well.

I finished up the entire bowl and no drop of curry was indeed wasted.

Take note: The queue can get quite long during lunch time.

Great to stumble upon this Penang stall in a hidden coffeeshop in Tanjong Pagar Plaza (to get here, take the steps next to POSB to the 2nd floor)!

Decided to get the Assam Laksa, which you don’t see around often in Singapore. For $5.50, it was quite a generous portion of what tasted like homemade noodles in a perfectly tangy broth, balanced by the sweetness of pineapples and topped with sardines.

$5, totally worth it, it’s very very nice!

The most fragrant bowl of braised pork rice I’ve ever eaten at this point in my life! Somehow the Penang flavours blends into the dish really well yet you still know that it’s a bowl of braised pork noodles. The chilli enhanced all the flavours and is a definitely must to eat it together.

A hearty bowl of Penang delights which impresses; thick luscious assam fish broth, chunky sardine fish and homemade chilli for the extra spicy kick.
.
Easily one of the better assam laksa around. But slightly under the radar unless you happen to be working in the vicinity.
