NAMA Japanese and Seafood Buffet

I had been really excited to try this buffet, and NAMA did not disappoint. From THB 999++ per person, the restaurant offered a spread that felt closer to fine dining than a typical all‑you‑can‑eat, with plating and pricing that were absolutely worth it.

The counters were the highlight, with salmon, tuna, scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and Babylon snails laid neatly on ice. Cuts were clean, portions generous, and freshness obvious. Premium touches like botan ebi, scallops, and ikura added indulgence you rarely expect at this price.

Nigiri, gunkan, uni, seared salmon, tamago, and roe‑topped pieces covered the basics. Luxury plates such as foie gras sushi, beef tongue, and Japanese oysters elevated the buffet into fine‑dining territory. Grilled dishes like mentaiko salmon, seared beef, prawns, and scallop shells with creamy sauces added depth and richness.

Fried shrimp, chicken, and meatballs provided comfort, while fresh greens, fruits, and condiments like soy sauce, seafood sauce, ginger paste, and quail eggs kept flavours balanced. Japanese‑style sweets such as matcha roll cake, cheesecake, castella, and melon offered a refreshing finish.

Located on the 24th floor of Centara Grand, the setting was modern and upscale, with attentive service and polished plating. Presentation elevated the whole experience, from sashimi bowls on ice to grilled seafood shells.
NAMA proved to be a buffet worth it in every sense, with luxurious seafood, careful plating, and pricing that delivered strong value. The botan ebi, scallops, and ikura were must‑tries, while foie gras sushi and oysters added indulgence. For THB 999++, the spread was already good enough to indulge in, making the premium THB 1999++ tier unnecessary unless you want to splurge. This is a buffet worth experiencing at least once when in Bangkok.
