Less than a 5-minute stroll from 牛店 (Niu Dian Beef Noodles) is this old-school ice cream parlour that has been operating for over 70 years. The ice cream (NT$35 for a cup of three flavours), prepared from fresh ingredients by hand, has a really unique texture – it's a little icy, like sorbet, but has a consistency that's almost as creamy as gelato.
