You really must try Shiokoji Tonkatsu Keisuke at Paya Lebar Square. The batter is super crispy without feeling greasy and the meat is tender. Even the egg is done just right! Really enjoyed my meal here.

Can’t go wrong with the tonkatsu at Shiokoji Tonkatsu Keisuke in Paya Lebar Square. Our other favourite part of the set is the fried egg, where the inside of the egg still oozes!

The tonkatsu here at Shiokoji Tonkatsu Keisuke is really good. I feel it is more tender and melt in the mouth than many others I’ve eaten. They’ve just opened. It’s a must try!!

Yet another new outlet but this time focusing on Tonkatsu.

The Tonkatsu here is quite out of the ordinary. It uses Shiokoji ( a fermented rice seasoning with over 100 years of Japanese history) for the marinade. Next, it is deep-fried at a low temperature to cook the meat, before being deep-fried at a high temperature to achieve a crispy outer layer.

In other words, "Water Molecule Control technology"..... But what this really means is a lot of thought has been put in into achieving a really tender and juicy piece of meat, which is a huge difficulty when it comes to Tonkatsu. I must say I really enjoyed the cutlets here. They really tasted more tender and juicy than usual.

3⃣Rolled Pork and Veggie Tonkatsu (still tastes great but makes you feel less sinful)

Eatzi prides itself for its steaks so you gotta try their Eatzi’s Special Steak ($29.90++)! 🥩🥩🥩 Featuring a premium New Zealand rib-eye fillet topped with white asparagus & black mushroom sauce 🍄, it was tender & well-executed despite its thick cut (ours was medium with a perfect pink finish 🤤🤤🤤).

Always looking for a good deal? 🤩 Grab their Value Set Lunch ($16.20++), available everyday from 11am-5pm, which includes your choice of a beverage, garlic bread 🍞, Soup of the Day 🥣, a main course & a dessert 🍰. Families with kids under 10 years old can order a Kids' Meal, which comes with Spaghetti Bolognese & Apple Juice ($7++). 👌🏻
