Seems like the Vietnamese have a thing for rooftop restaurants and bars, but I’m not complaining because they sure know how to dress the place up. Food here is on the pricey side, but I suppose you’re also paying for the ambience.

The small clams (which I initially mistook for basil pork) are reeeeeaaally tiny, but very fragrant fried with onions and chilli. Spring rolls offered good variety for sharing around the table, but what everyone loved most had to be the fried blocks of soft tofu smothered in salted egg sauce.
