Spinach and Salmon pizza $30 Beautiful pizzas, wood fired made fresh in front of you. Prices are a little high but currently they are running a 1 for 1 offer on takeout. Affogato coffee is authentic but average tasting. A must try if you like pizzas fresh and you are around bukit Timah. I recommend the salmon and spinach pizza for $30

Great Pizza! Came here for lunch with my friend. We ordered the Quinta pizza ($19 for M)- Tomato, Mozzarella, Egg and Black Truffle Paste. The first thing that hits you is the truffle aroma and then you take a bite and what fills your mouth is an earthy taste with some acidity from the tomato sauce. Really good and the crust was quite crispy too. Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola ($18)- Gratinated homemade Potato Dumplings with Gorgonzola, cream and ham. Take a scoop of it and what you get is the taste of blue cheese that is not too strong but just nicely balanced with the cream that makes you crave for seconds. The potato dumpling was good as well. It was perfectly cooked and too soft or mushy. Calamari ($14)- Crispy squid rings with Arriabiata sauce and Truffle Mayo. The batter was really crispy but could be seasoned more. Calamari tasted quite under seasoned. Arriabiata sauce is served room temperature and added savoury and acidity to the mild tasting squid. Mayo had very mild taste of truffle. Maybe my pizza and gnocchi killed my tastebuds. Oh well. Passionfruit Iced Tea ($4.80). Tea was good but slightly a bit sweet for my liking. Servers on that day were friendly and food didn't take too long to arrive. Overall a good place to have a meal but skip the calamari.

Truffle Shrooom pizza Nestled in the heart of Serangoon Gardens, yeast side cafe is a family-friendly cafe that truly exceeded my expectations. We kicked off our meal with their specialty pizza, the Truffle Shroom, which turned out to be utterly addictive. The dough was chewy, and each bite was packed with a robust truffle flavor that truffle lovers will surely appreciate. We also tried their spicy popcorn chicken, which was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, delivering just the right amount of spiciness without being overwhelming. We left with our taste buds satisfied and a promise to return to explore more from their menu. Thank you for the great experience!

Pandan Panna Cotta and Gelato + Evoo We had a delightful evening at Yeast Side (Serangoon Gardens), where every dish felt like it was made with genuine care and a touch of artistry. From Truffle Shrooms! Pizza to Spicy Popcorn Chicken. To wrap up, we couldn’t resist dessert — both the Pandan Panna Cotta (silky and fragrant, paired with strawberry compote) and the Gelato + Evoo (a fascinating combo of vanilla gelato, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil) were simply outstanding. If you have room, these are non-negotiable finales.

Spicy Popcorn Chicken For spice seekers, the Spicy Popcorn Chicken is a must-try. The subtle Mala Szechuan heat doesn’t overwhelm at first but builds stealthily with each bite, leaving that signature tingle true Mala fans crave.

Pizza They offer a wide variety of pizza from thick crust to thin crust , it’s pretty good if ure in e mood for pizzas . Those giant capers was awesome , but there was simply too much cream on top the bread , overwhelming everything else on the toast .

Tiramisu For dessert, the Tiramisu ($15) was more than lovely. Not too wet or dry, the stack came together exceptionally well. It wasn’t overly alcoholic in taste and I really enjoyed the citrus/ orange aftertaste I got after each bite. The creme was yummy and the chocolate powder dusted at the very top made it even better!

Parma Pizza A nice balance; crafted with a tangy tomato sauce base, mozzarella cheese, parma ham, stracciatella cheese and sun-dry tomatoes, ANTO Pizza E Aperitivi’s classic Parma ($38) pie was simply amazing. Wonderfully put together, it didn’t feel like a full-blown meaty pizza but rather a moreish and well-executed slice with a bit of everything. Crisp, puffy crust and fluffy-chewy in the middle. The leopard-spotted corners were my favourite parts.

Coleslaw Set comes with 2 choices, so I picked Mashed Potato and Coleslaw out of their nine options. Still impressed by their sides portion, very generous. Just look at that coleslaw, easily three times more than other places. Coleslaw was juicy and sweet with fresh crunchy cabbage and carrot, plus a little tang.

Clean beefy taste, tender with a firm bite, juicy but dried at some parts. Luckily the black pepper sauce helped to moisten and give flavour. For local coffeeshop standard, pretty good, though I preferred medium rare. If got some salt and pepper on the side, even better. Chicken Wing ($1.70/pcs) Deep-fried to perfection. The golden brown hue says it all. Smooth, crispy skin that's even better than fast food joints. Clean greasy mouthfeel that doesn’t feel jelak. The oil penetrates the meat with a clean taste. You gotta try it to get what I mean.

Soft melty fats, smooth skin, and savoury tender meat neatly sliced for a rich melt-in-the-mouth mouthfeel. The braised flavour runs deep and you can spot that garlic clove and aroma. Meat was nice, however I felt the rice was a tad too hard to bite on, needed some sauce to ease the chewiness. I also felt the bowl was kinda small portion for this pricing.

Judging from the serving portion, it looked kinda small for a big eater like me, and from the amount of sauce given, I thought it wouldn’t be enough to drizzle on the rice, but turns out it was just nice. Pork trotter was chopped into appropriate bite-sized pieces that were easy to lift with chopstick and spoon. The meat, fats, and skin were succulent and easy to chew off from the bone. The rich savouriness was yummy and paired well with rice. The flavour penetrated through the bone, which made me suck out every single tiny drop from it. The pork didn’t feel jelak at all. It was quite pleasant.

Amazing Had a very hearty meal. We ordered a table full of zi char dishes for dinner, and every dish was flavorful. The porridge texture is perfect.

Zi char style, great place for supper or dinner Great find in kembangan area! This stall serves free flow sweet potato porridge, and dishes in Zi char style. The fu yong egg was super fluffy. Would definitely recommend. We also order black bean paste fish slices and pork ribs and spinach which were all very fresh.

Zi char dinner or supper spot in the East While the name suggests a porridge place, you can either opt for refillable porridge or rice at $1 per pax and the dishes are similar to zi char. Was impressed by the variety, quality of food and friendliness of staff. The fish with black bean sauce was great, the texture of the fish was soft and not dry, the sauce was fragrant and not too salty. The fuyong omelette was fresh and fluffy. The spinach with white bait was also good, especially the crispy white bait. The salted egg ribs was my favourite dish - the pork was tender with no bones, the sauce was thick and so good that I finished up everything. Overall, great dinner and supper spot, will be back to try other dishes.

Sichuan-style Tofu with Preserved Eggs From Peppercorn Mala Hotpot 皮蛋豆腐 Solid portion of appetiser, main flavours come from the chilli oil stir fried garlic, spring onions, peppercorns & sesame seeds. Highly recommended.

Fish Flavour Shredded Pork Rice From Peppercorn Mala Hotpot Wok fire 鱼香肉丝 饭 Full flavour Sichuan style of the savoury meat strips. Really goes well with the fluffy rice. Highly recommended.

Comforting yet elevated meal in town Went to One Prawn & Co. for lunch on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised with the hearty meal we were met with! We tried their signature Prawn Bisque Ramen, Cold Mala Crack Noodles, “Dirty” Love Letter, Bang Bang Salmon Tartare, Charred Sprouts & Lychee, and their BBT drinks Dragon’s Breath Cooler & CoCo Cloud. True to its reputation, the Prawn Bisque Ramen blew us away - the heartiness and depth of the broth, the bounce of the noodles, the textural pairings of the crispy shallots, soaked nori, bamboo shoots and of course the juicy, fresh, prawns all combined together to provide a truly comforting yet elevated dish. This is one that’s worth the cholesterol! For the other main, the cold mala crack noodles provided a nice balance to the hot weather, and I appreciated that the spice level could be adjusted according to your own tastes. The tempura batter was also light and crispy enough to pair well with the mala sauce. Another stand out dish was the Bang Bang Salmon Tartare - I really enjoyed the dressing the salmon was prepared in, it was a great appetiser, with a good savoury tanginess that whet the appetite for the mains. I also really liked the Love Letter dish, the savoury umami mousse paired with the sweet crispy love letter was very unique, however, I did wish for a bigger portion for its price, and this is also one dish you’d want to eat the moment it’s served as I could see the love letter getting soggy after awhile. Other two surprising items were the smoked ice cream with the cheesecake dessert (who knew ice cream with an uncanny bonito flake after taste would be so good!!) and the coco cloud drink (definitely mix the froth with the coconut juice to make it taste like a refreshing, light coconut ice cream milkshake!) Overall, the service was really friendly, prompt and the atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. I could definitely see myself coming back for a comforting meal with friends or on a chill date on a day you’re ready for a big, warm, rich, meal. PS. If you’re around - look out for all the hidden rubber duckies around the restaurant!! We found 6, but have a feeling there may be more hehe

Try this place, PRAWN-to!! I highly recommend their signature prawn ramen dish. The broth is super hearty and you can tell they really boiled it for a long time! They are also pretty generous and we got 3 pretty large prawns in the bowl~ Across all dishes, the ingredients tasted very fresh, and the flavour profiles are all well balanced. Also keep an eye out for the cute rubber ducks they have stashed around the restaurant (we found six).

Umami lunch Enjoyed my lunch at One Prawn & Co, tried the dry-aged snapper, prawn bisque ramen, and smoky beans with burrata. Nice ambience and great food!

unreal portions prepare to hv ur bellies bursting!!! the food was super delicious too~ staff here are so genuine about the burpple 1 for 1 & were rly forthcoming in answering queries about the redemption. had the ayam bertu ($26.80) which was half a chicken. the spices were strongly flavoured & lightly spicy which was enjoyable. chicken was meaty & tender also. chicken mushroom risotto ($18.80) was slightly salty but both flavour & texture were good! the grains were not mushy. very happy with the service & food! so worth with the discount~

The fish was cooked perfectly, not dry nor soggy. -Rib eye was cooked perfectly. Fries had very nice truffle taste. Bar bites: Har Cheong Gai chicken and Lamb chop was good to have with some beer Overall, would go again to try other dishes
