Loaded And All! See what I mean when I said generous servings of cream cheese? So glad the staff doesn't spread it on for you and you can take the cream cheese in your own hands.

Sunday evening well spent Last evening I was surprised by two things on the Starbucks menu. The Coconut White Mocha Macchiato ( refreshing frothy coconut flavored coffee) and their toasted bagel with cream cheese. ( HOW DID I MISS THIS) Their bagel tasted quite fresh, was well toasted and came with two generous servings of cream cheese. YUM!

Matcha soy frappe [Venti: $8.50] Not usually a Starbucks person but since there鈥檚 a complimentary welcome reward in my card, why not? 馃槈 As part of the Christmas offerings, @starbuckssg has came up with a new creation: Dark mocha frappe with GREEN TEA WHIPPED CREAM 馃槏馃挌. Since I鈥檓 not a coffee drinker (and will avoid it due to the aftermath of insomnia cum headache) but was tempted by the green tea infused whipped cream, I decided to change the base of the beverage to matcha soy frappe. Requested for 2x the matcha powder too, being a hardcore matchaholic 馃槀. Had initially opted for no sugar and syrup but was told that it was not possible for this request to achieve the creamy, thick texture in an ice blended beverage. Hence I had to make do with LESS sugar/syrup but it was unfortunately still too sweet for my liking that I had to dilute it by myself by adding my own ice cubes 馃槄. However, having 2x the matcha shot, the characteristic earthy undertone of matcha was no doubt more distinct. The whipped cream was light, airy with a subtle lingering earthy fragrance too. The texture of the frappe could have been thicker though, with perhaps a reduction in syrup added. The whipped cream had a pretty short lifespan as well (swipe to view) hence highly recommended to consume it in silo (prior to drinking) or if not, let it mix along with the frappe . . . . #burpple #smitteneats

Cheese Jing Syuan Tea 鑺濆+閲戣惐鑼 - M [$4.10] Was honestly quite excited to try their range of Cheese Teas and I was hoping very much that they would be as good as Happy Lemon's cheese series (anyone remembers them?). We went for 50% sugar level as recommended and glad that the fragrant tea turned out refreshing. The thick and gooey cheese foam will please cheese fans but this and the tea felt like rather separate elements both before and after mixing in. One downside is that the foam and ice takes up at least one third of the cup, meaning you get lesser drink. The Large size is available at $5.10. It wasn't really my thing but will definitely try the other teas available!

Tried Liho's Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk! Decided to give this a try amidst all the brown sugar pearl frenzy. It was not bad, but not magical? The top part was really fresh milk and the bottom part sugary pearls. Both parts were nice but you have to mix properly or it'll be on the sweeter side (when your straw sips from the base) cuz you can't select your sugar level for this range! Overall not suuuper impressed but surprisingly better than I expected. Average Western Fare Had the prawn aglio olio (~$25) abs the jazz burger (~$23) both tasted really average and nothing to shout about. Jazz burger was slightly drier and less oily than normal burgers (smth I liked bc I didn鈥檛 like oily burgers) but wedges were too stale and dry. Aglio olio was very garlicky and generous with the prawns but again didn鈥檛 stand out as compared to other aglios I had. 6.5/10

Okonomiyaki Flatbread Pizza ($25++) Knew I had to order it as soon as I saw it cause okonomiyaki on a pizza? Yes please! Though I preferred the mushroom & truffle pizza, this was definitely a good attempt at innovating new fusion dishes 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎 Toppings were generous with the flatbread base holding baby octopus, cabbage and tomatoes, topped off with okonomiyaki and Japanese mayo sauce and bonito flakes! 馃い馃い Though the flatbread base received mixed opinions around the table, I personally enjoyed their pizzas here, especially with eatigo鈥檚 50% off. Service was also impeccable with constant water refills (even when our jug was only half empty) 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎

Carnivore Platter ($49++) Great for sharing among meat lovers! The platter came with half a rack of BBQ Baby Back Ribs, 4 Harry鈥檚 Signature Wings, sliced Italian Pork Chipotle, 5 sticks of Chicken Satay and a small mountain of Tandoori Chicken. Ribs were pretty tender with a good portion of fat, and we knew it when they didn鈥檛 serve the ribs with a steak knife cause the meat easily tore off the bones and was well flavoured 馃い馃い A pity they were small and the meat wasn鈥檛 that much though. Chicken wings were every bit as crispy as a good Har Cheong Gai minus the prawn paste taste. Sausages were decent, satay was pretty eh and satay peanut sauce was a little too watery. Tandoori Chicken wasn鈥檛 the true Indian tandoori but seasoning was pretty alright. Overall, really value for money with eatigo鈥檚 50% off and shoutout to the good service with constant water refills (even when our jug was only half empty) 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎
