Sassy Fellow with Vanilla Gelato ($12.90) - 'Banana infused into Belgian waffle, banana slices, walnuts, maple syrup, sea salt caramel sauce, accompanied with either vanilla or honey-scotch gelato' - They ran out of the honey-scotch gelato :/ Sea salt caramel sauce was warm, thick, buttery, flavourful and sinfully delicious. Waffle was really thick - crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. However, I could not make out any banana supposedly infused into the waffle. The vanilla bean gelato had a very strong vanilla fragrance. I don't think it was as creamy as the one I had at Seasonal Tastes but the flavour was definitely stronger. The sea salt caramel sauce helped to tie everything together by providing a distinct saltish contrast to all the other sweet elements of the dish - subtly sweet waffle batter, natural sweetness of the banana and the subtly sweet vanilla bean gelato. It also helped to prevent the waffle from becoming too dry after awhile. The walnuts were definitely not an afterthought as well, helping to add that earthy nutty notes and perhaps making you think that what you are eating may actually be good for you. Taste: 9.5/10 (Really comforting dessert) More pictures at 1) 2)
Peanut Butter Maple Banana Toast ($4.50) 15/08/19 - 'Multi-grain toast with chunky peanut butter spread, bananas and walnuts. Served with maple syrup' - Really thick peanut butter with some crunchy peanut bits - Hearty thick cuts of firm and fresh bananas - Thick wholemeal bread that was soft and fluffy but was a tad too dry - You can see the drizzle of maple syrup on the sliced bananas but it was too little that you can hardly taste it Price: 8/10 Taste: 8.5/10 (As I like peanut butter) Overall: 8.5/10 More pictures at 1) 2)

So-so icecream 1 for 1 burpple. 2 scoops amounted to $4.60 (70cents extra for each premium scoop) Seemed to me that most of the icecream was under the premium category, though we felt that they tasted pretty regular. We got the Earl Grey Tie Guan Yin and a Chrysanthemum with Goji Berries. The Chrysanthemum one was a little too sweet for our liking, tasted like drinking a Yeo鈥檚 packet drink nothing special. Nonetheless the price was affordable. Might try other flavours when we come the next time.
local delights!! Headed down specially over the long weekend to try their $5.40 special - 2 scoops of gelato on every Singaporean鈥檚 favourite rainbow bread! This time, I tried the chrysanthemum (distinct flavour that was a tad sweet, but I liked the surprise bits of goji berries) and kopi gu you (was amazed at the intense and rich flavour). The bread is no longer available, but be sure to catch the local flavours before they get switched out next month!
Rainbow Bread Double Scoop Gelato Special I may be on team wafer biscuit, but truly nothing beats聽the traditional ice-cream bread served by the ice-cream man when it comes to delivering a聽taste of nostalgia. Not too spongy, soft and simply delectable; Geometry鈥檚 rainbow bread double scoop gelato聽is certainly an elevated version of the childhood delicacy. At $5.40, the National Day special would be available only till tomorrow (Monday, 12 August).聽Pairing the old-school rainbow-swirl bread with their stellar line-up of gelato flavours, I opted for Pandan Gula Melaka and Earl Grey Tie Guan Yin. The former offering聽hints of聽pandan聽with聽sweet streaks of聽palm sugar as well as desiccated coconut while the latter was a fragrant combination with pronounced yet pleasant tea flavour. Yum!
