Roadside shophouse unit, spacious and airy. Just a 10min walk from Dakota MRT.
Sambal Promfet ($40): Huge, sufficient portion for the 5 of us. Fish was fresh with a nicely crisp exterior, and generously topped with this delicious sambal. Sambal was the highlight, we kept eating it with the rest of the dishes.
Crab Beehoon ($48): Decently sized whole crab, with sweet and plump flesh. Beehoon was rich and intense, but became slightly surfeiting towards the end.
Tofu w/ Crabmeat ($12): Tofu was good, and the gravy made it better with lump of crabmeat.
Sweet Potato Leaf ($10), Spinach w/ Trio Egg ($12): Nice, but not great. Had better in plenty other places.
Fried Rice ($6): Average, but portion was amazing for the price.
Homemade Prawn Roll ($10): Meaty and bursting with juices. This was nice.

I brought my mum to Pizza Express for a meal, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were super friendly and welcoming โ service was top-notch from start to finish.
We ordered a drink, pasta, and one of their signature thin-crust pizzas. Everything was delicious, but the pizza really stood out โ perfectly crisp and full of flavour. Dining here truly never goes wrong; itโs consistent, comforting, and satisfying.
To end the meal, we had their cheesecake, and it was the perfect sweet finish โ rich, smooth, and indulgent.
Highly recommend Pizza Express if youโre looking for good food and great service in a casual, cozy setting.
Dined on a weekday evening and got a 7-course set. Service was attentive and our seat had a view of the open kitchen, so we saw chefs preparing our food items fresh on the spot before it got served to us.
Standouts for me were the Jumbo Tiger Prawn-
Delicious combination of creamy sauce, the fragrant fried shallot that tied everything together and gave an Asian flavour profile- familiar yet elevated.
and Kingfish-
Smoked and came in two different flavour profiles, thought that the use of kailan was interesting as it resulted in a salty and tangy flavour. Both tasted amazing as the fish was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth.
This is not authentic Thai, whatever is the dish , be it TomYam river prawn noodle or beef noodle soup , they will elevate it by thickening the soup to make it creamier and tastier . Very delicious but more calories for sure . Very good for rainy days . Price is reasonable too .
Shandong peppers / Eggplant / Century Egg/ sesame oil
Just have this mashed appetiser with their wuchang rice and itโs perfect .
This is a lovely lunch or dinner spot in Sentosa , serving quality Wagyu selections . We loved the chefโs sashimi , tuna tartare with fried nori seaweed , n wagyu fat fried edamame . Lovely .
Those looking for an elegant dining experience should look not further than Ingleside, A 5 minute stroll away from Maxwell MRT, we were blown away by the stylish decor, attentive service and, of course, impressive food, which was based around the techniques of fermentation, dry-ageing and wood-fire cooking.
For appetisers, the Hokkaido Scallops were fresh and were paired well with tangy fermented tomato dressing. The Grilled Asparagus was wonderfully crunchy with dollops of garlic aioli. The Truffle Pomme Puree was sinfully rich and not over seasoned, as with most truffle dishes.
For the mains, the dry-aged Wagyu Picanha was a bit rare than expected but still fared well with a markedly earthy taste and paired well with the aromatic banana shallots. The dry-aged Iberico Chuletaro was amazingly tender, with pickled mushrooms, charred corn brushed with beef garum, potato puree and marsala sauce punctuating the dish in sweet and sour notes.
The lemon and ginger spritzers made for a refreshing palate cleanser throughout our meal. The staff were also welcoming, attentive and even provided us with complimentary desserts to celebrate a birthday. Kudos to them!
Highly recommended for an intimate date night, or a fancy dinner out.
Yeast Side best side ๐ a large, cosy space for working while eating.
We had the mac and cheese, salmon burrata tartine and their Hojicha and Matcha cloud drinks!
Their drinks definitely stood out, and they use powder from niko neko so they really hit the spot! Their mac and cheese was very rich and best shared with 2 people. Salmon sandwich was good, recommended to eat quick when fresh. We will be back to try their pizzas!
Brunch here for my birthday celebration and the staff was attentive and friendly. They took the time to explain the diff menus and recommended items!
Ordered:
- gnocchi
- Matcha strawberry drink
- hainanese pork chop โค๏ธ
The drink tasted great, with an ideal ratio of strawberry and Matcha! Gnocchi had an umami taste. Highlight was definitely the pork chop with just the right amount of fat and meat, that made it moist, yet it kept the crunch on the outside and softness on the inside โค๏ธ๐
