The monastery’s monk serve and elaborate multi course kaiseki style meal with a lot of soya products. As the monks speak little English, the menu is poorly written and hard to understand so we had no idea what most thing were! I loved how they sued beautiful and cute dishes to serve each delicate serving on 😍
