I got attracted by a huge poster promoting their lunch set. For $8.80, you can choose either a sweet and sour, or salted egg dish, with rice and a fried egg. The protein choices are chicken, fish, prawn or sotong. Add $1 for a glass of lemon tea or grass jelly. Pretty good deal.
It's so tempting choose the other great dishes on the menu, but for the sake of my wallet, I went with the lunch set. I chose the sweet and sour fish of course, no surprise there. The fish fillets were crispy, but the sauce was a bit too sweet. The iced lemon tea was strong on the tea taste, just the way I like it.
Sweet tomato ketchup fried rice with each grain well defined by itself. The accompanying Macau chicken chop was so crisp on its skin with its meat remains juicy, tender and warm. Perfect delish match of both!
