Came all the way from the far east to this coffee place, and left without any regrets. The interior of the place is already stunningly beautiful, and the drinks are very unique as well. The coffee with Matcha ($9) or Dirty Matcha, has a deep aromatic Matcha flavour, with a hint of coffee that makes this such a complex drink, and definitely for those who loves their drinks heavy. The Yuzu Summer Fizz ($9) is very interesting as well, as its a sour, refreshing fizzy coffee drink πŸ˜‚ really good especially in Singapore's heat! Really worth a trip down I feel!

For the coffee drinkers, you'd have heard or been to this cosy Japanese roastery/cafe located at the far west, but going there is definitely worth every minute of travelling.

On one side of the building, you have the main roastery factory, while in the other, a double-story zen space for you to relax and have a cuppa.

As you enter, you'd be directed up to the second floor for your coffee or tea orders. Choose from a variety of filter coffee options, or espresso or tea for your caffeine dose.

We ordered the filter - Uganda Bugisu ($7.50) which has a medium body, with sweet hints of raisins & brown sugar before a wine-like aftertaste which lingers. We also had their Kyoto Uji Hojicha ($8) which has a perfectly nutty body, with a slight bitter ending which we surprisingly enjoyed and a creamy finish.

Apart from serving drinks, they also sell both filter & espresso beans which are for sale on their racks. Defo a cosy space to pop by if you're in the area/work in the west for that afternoon cuppa.

As I arrived late in the day, Suzuki's Matcha drinks were unfortunately sold out. Hence, I had settled for their Iced Chocolate which turned out pretty decent. Rich, chocolate-y, and not too milky; the concoction was smooth and balanced. However, priced at $9, the option was certainly not the most value-for-money (the free lotus biscoff did soften the blow though).

Technically not coffee, but it has a shot of espresso in it. Matcha game is strong, I prefer this over their cappuccino

Felt as though we were transported to Japan when we step into @suzukicoffee. Wooden styled with intimate corners, they even place a small Japanese Garden at the entrance.

Mainly serving drinks, expect a range of specialty coffee and some small packeted Japanese sweets to go along.

The popular choice will be their Anmitsu Matcha ($10), an iced drink made using Kyoto Uji Matcha served with a dollop of red beans. The frothy earthy matcha drink is nicely balanced with sweet Azuki beans, with the option to add on whipped cream.

P.S: situated in the Boon Lay industrial estate, it is best to drive over. Do note that they are currently cap at 15pax within the cafe due to the newly implemented measures.
