Further down from Qiu Jia Squid Noodles along a quieter alley is Ye Jia Squid Noodles. It’s definitely less crowded but was still always fully packed. I enjoyed Qiu Jia’s more for their savoury broth that didn’t have that slight artificial kind of sweetness like the one here has. The squid here were a tad more chewy to but still fresh! Plus point, this shop is air-conditioned and that worked wonders for us in the summer heat.
