China 🇨🇳 has the GREAT WALL of China, Singapore 🇸🇬 has the GREAT WALL of TOAST! 🍞
.
Love those trendy Instagram-worthy Shibuya Toasts from After You Café in Bangkok? I was pleasantly surprised to find a good one here at Walking On Sunshine too! ✌🏻
.
On their dessert menu is Honey Butter Toast ($12.50), which features a drizzle of honey 🍯, a mountain of vanilla cream ☁️, granola, walnut, sliced almonds, raisins & pumpkin seeds! Really liked the flavours of this one! 😋😋😋 Chocolate maniacs can go for their Chocolate Butter Toast ($12.50) where you get to enjoy a dose of chocolate sauce 🍫, chocolate chips & vanilla cream. 😉
.
Holding it all together perfectly is a brick toast, crisp on the outside & pillowy soft on the inside! 😍😍😍 It did not taste too buttery either, but just the way I like it as overall taste profile is light & not overwhelming. ✔ Especially love the crunchy sides!! 💯
.
These Shibuya Toasts can be very filling as a dessert so make sure you demolish these great walls with some friends ya! 💕

Absolutely loved the soufflé pancakes, it was not too dry and was very fluffy. The added cream and the fresh fruits gave it a very refreshing touch. The maple syrup also went very well with the pancakes. One of the best I’ve had! Would recommend trying!

the fluffy texture really made it stand out from regular pancakes and I also loved the generous mixed fruits toppings (orange, blueberries, strawberries) - the sweet cream also added the right sweetness to the dish as the soufflé pancake on its own might be too bland for some people!

Very pretty cafe but maybe a bit overwhelming with the decor.

Service was substandard but the food is not bad. We ordered the Beef panini (SGD19++) and the pancakes (SGD22++) and two coffee. In total we paid about $30 per pax.

The bulgogi beef was sweet and savoury, interesting combination with cheese. Bread was well toasted and not too tough.

Iberico Pork Jowl - $22.50

This plate full of iberico pork cheek is such a gem. Firstly it’s not a common menu item in most of the cafes, secondly it’s so tender and savoury in every bite. Don’t worry it’s not too salty, well executed. They offer striploin steak ($21.50) as well if pork meat isn’t your thing. These dishes pairs well with their blossom tea, Antoniette’s Affair Lychee Tea ($9), which is fragrant and evens out the savoury notes

I will recommended to try their Bulgogi Beef Cream Fetuccini which is my favorite of all, comes with beef chunks that's on the sweeter side, parmesan, bacon, cream, egg yolk, bulgogi dressing and fettuccine. 😋
