Maple & Market Bakery might top my list of desserts places! For all I know I'd definitely be back. The bakery is pretty tiny, and hidden at 34 Cassia Crescent (located not far away from the famous Old Airport Road Hawker Centre). Although the bakery is small, it has a open space that conducts baking classes and during my visit on a weekday, the bakery was already bustling with customers.

The presentation of all the bakes are so beautiful and delicious, I actually fall in love with many of them. The price tag of the bakes are affordable, for a slice of butter croissant it only cost $2+ and cake slices are priced at $5.50 onwards.
Please pay Maple & Market a visit, even if you don't stay in the East!

Suckling pig tapas. Extremely tender yet crispy on the outside.

I think it's safe to say I love treating my plates and bowls as my object of photography. That... and my love for food is undeniable.

Stringy cheese, capsicums, squid, mussels in a rich, squid ink flavoured paella. Love.

Great french bakery in the CBD area. Lemon tarts here are always spot on for me. At $5 a tart, you'll fall in love with the fluffy meringue instantly.

Favourite place to go to for salad on a workday! Leaves are fresh, generous portions, though a tad pricey!

Home made roast pork, second attempt. Recipe from themeatmen!

Generous tobiko atop charcoal grilled eel wrapped with salmon maki. Drizzle a creamy cheese sauce and that gives you the Shiok! maki. Question is... shiok or not?

One of favourite places for brunch. Pleasant surprise today though - they've expanded their cafe to accommodate more seats. Always know I can get a consistently great cuppa caffeine here.

Generous scallop portions (both fresh and dried) with a congee texture. The sesame oil helps with the overall taste too.

They never screw up your morning routine. One of my favourite coffee spots.

Opted for something outside of my eggs benny Sunday brunch routine today and tried something a little more adventurous - of course I had to have something with a perfectly poached egg still! The tomato relish contrasted the creamy avocado and the poached egg well, with the texture of the corn nibblets giving every bite a great punch!
