Bop Gelato Insta: cafehoppingkids Ice cream ($6) ⭐️ 4.5/5 ⭐️ 🍴Always such a tough choice picking which flavour to get especially when samples are not allowed for safety reasons. Decided on the unique and refreshing #strawberrybasil that had a perfect balance of berries and herb aroma, neither overpowering the other. Although relatively pricey with a single scoop going for $5, #bopgelato remains one of my favourite ice cream stalls around for the unique flavours, smooth, and delicious gelato, and today’s scoop seemed quite generous in size. Would also recommend paying $1 more for their special homemade thyme cone that was crispy and a balanced mix of butter and aromatic thyme. 📍@bopgelato, Birds Of Paradise X In Good Company, 01-214/215/216, Jewel Changi Airport, 78 Airport Boulevard, Singapore 819666 #cafehoppingchangi
Ice cream Tried the sea salted hojicha and white chrysanthemum flavor. Personally like the chrysanthemum one better. Could really taste the floral smell and cocoa nibs. Also loved the wafer cone! The whole icecream shop smelled like Thyme!
Thyme Waffle Cone & Hazelnut ($8.70) Please upgrade to a cone, this is not even negotiable! You can smell the fragrant cones being freshly baked from outside the store. At $8.70 for a double scoop in a cone, it's not cheap but it's certainly worth the price for this Michelin recommended joint. I always go with hazelnut flavor but might try some of the floral flavors next thyme. 😊

Lunch at Malayan Council (Bussorah Street). Everything we order here is bombastically delicious. Fusion food traditional meets modern. The menu looks costlly but the portion they gave is genorous. We order 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 deserts for 4 people. On top of that TMC genorouslly gave us complimentary sambal kicap buffalow wing 😱👍 and durian pengat cake 🥰. $163 for 4 people when it actually should be for 6 to 7 people. We tapau some of the food home. Thus price range is like $23 to $27 per pax to satisfy food cravings and fill the stomach to its peak. TMC can be a weeklly or monthlly ocassion. Savoure the taste instead of filling the stomach. If accidentally order more than u can eat call me or call your friends. I am sure we will gladly finish up your food for you. 😊
Ondeh Ondeh Cake Haven't had this for awhile & when I ordered it, it tastes exactly how I remembered it! The Malayan Council's Ondeh Ondeh Cake is perhaps the most on point and similar to actual Ondeh ondeh. Every mouthful is filled with coconut shavings, soft Pandan sponge and sweet, thick, with crunchy bits of gula Melaka. The perfect sweet ending to a meal!
Smoked Duck Lemak Chilli Padi $29 The initial distaste at the overwhelming smell of truffle oil when we first entered the restaurant gave way to nods of approval once we tasted the dishes. The thick slices of smoked duck were supple and fatty, and the pasta perfectly al dente, but what impressed most was the well-balanced cream sauce spiked with a zing of chilli padi. Taste: 3.5/5

Smoked Salmon Burger I have not been to Scrambled for a while and I almost forgot how glorious their scrambled eggs burgers are. The Smoked Salmon Burger ($11.90) comprises of creamy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar and smoked salmon topped with torched mentaiko mayo. The Brioche buns are super soft and fluffy and the whole burger is smokey, moist (the eggs and cheese are literally dripping) and simply delicious. I topped up $4.50 for the set meal which comes with a generous portion of shoestring fries served with an addictive curry mayo sauce, as well as a drink of your choice. A really decent scrambled eggs burger I must say👍🏻
Scrambled Egg Burger with fries set Dropped by for lunch at Scrambled and got their smoked salmon scrambled egg burger with fries! The bread was a tad oily but it was toasted well. Unfortunately, the mentaiko sauce and smoked salmon overpowered the scrambled egg (which i assume should be the main star). Nonetheless it was still a good burger, and I’d come back to try other flavors. My friend enjoyed her katsu pork variant alot more! Got their cajun fries and truffle fries from set A and set B respectively. Fries were very crisp and fresh, and seasoned well. Truffle dip came separately and it was really fragrant! Overall pretty pricey (about $16 for my set A meal w salmon) but delicious fast food!
Bacon & Cheese ($9.90) Quite a filling breakfast burger filled with Scrambled Eggs, Melted Cheddar, Crispy Bacon Strips and Sweet & Savory Maple Aioli.
