Didn't get to try making the sponge cake (underneath the chocolate coating and cherry filling) so I'm not sure if mine at home will turn out as soft and fragrant.. It's a rather rich cake with a layer of sour cherries on top and another layer of sweet dark cherries in the middle, coated with dark and white chocolate ganache in the middle and at the top respectively. This should cost around $20-$30 outside but I get to learn how to make it and bring it home in addition to the chestnut bread for just $55!

This smelled so heavenly the moment the oven door opened... And the steps aren't too complicated! The crumble on top was amazing and the chestnuts inside provided a great crunch! Once I get a larger and better electric mixer I'm so going to make this again. On a side note for those looking for a good baking class you should really consider phoon huat. It's $55 for 3 h (it dragged to 4 h for mine today) and you get to bring back 2 items which easily cost abt $40 outside. A comfortable learning environment with a friendly instructor too.

A great combination of runny sunny-side-up, crispy bacon and tomato-based sauce with big pieces of grilled tomatoes. The cheese was presented as dried thin separate pieces, and I would very much like it melted onto the pizza base. But still enjoyable overall.

This is my 2nd time trying this. The prawns are just as nice as the previous one but the linguine was slightly wetter and tasted a little different. Still delicious though!

Smooth and creamy, loaded with chunks of mushrooms cut into the right size. Good for sharing, as it may be cloying after a while.

Used a slightly different recipe but though it doesn't look better people who tried it love its taste and texture. It's fluffier and sweeter than the first.

It's the same cake but here you can see the even texture inside and the light browning outside providing a contrast. Really proud of it hee.

This would be my most preferred those among those that we ordered. It wasn't too oily and the charred taste was strong, the way I like it.

My mouth and stomach were burning after I finished this. This Assam laksa was much more spicy than what I often got in other Assam laksas, which are known to be milder in heat but sour. Apart from this kick there wasn't anything that stood out, and without an icy drink I definitely wouldn't enjoy it. Doubt I will go for it again.

More like a tart to me cuz it has a dry and coarse texture, though that doesn't negate its deliciousness.
