Back here for more awesome crispy fried fish. The fish is really crispy. You have that really crispy crunch on the outside and the really tender fresh fish on the inside. And I like how the batter is not overly thick and the fish is not super greasy. It just gives a very light satisfying crunch, love it😍 It's simple fish and chips done right and good. This is the place you want to come to and get your cravings for fried fish fixed. Prices are real affordable here too, ranging from $6 to $20.

Back to the place where it has a stunning menu with a wide range of Western Classics, Collins sure doesn't disappoint. The Chicken Schnitzel was very crispy, that slice of ham surely appeals to a meat lover like me. Potato salad was cooked wonderfully, and I really love the salad. That light lemony touch on it really enhances the flavour of the greens which makes it so less boring to eat. What looks like a light meal in appearance isn't actually light at all I must say😂

Besides being known for its Empire State burger which weighs up to 2kg including fries, it is also known for its larger than average portions of food(Well sounds like food in America eh?) Anyways, back to this pasta, the pasta contains some generous chunks of bacon and mushroom, topped with chopped garlic and chilli flakes. It is well cooked, decent in terms of taste but not extraordinary. I had better pasta at other places at cheaper prices. But to be fair to them, the generous portions make up for the price difference. Ah, forgot to mention, they do have some pretty good promotions for lunchtime, such as 50% off ala carte items for students and seniors aged 55 and above.

Located right beside Beo Crescent food centre, this curry rice stall has no name, no signboard or whatsoever. The place looks super dark but don't be fooled by its appearance, it actually sells one of the best curry rice in SG! Definitely if you're there, you must try the pork chop, super super crunchy and satisfying, you just crave more and more of it. A sloppy plate of goodness, I also picked taupok and cabbage, slabbed with the curry sauce, just a hearty plate of goodness which I chomped down very fast. Expect a long queue, so be there early before it sells finish. .

This is one of the usual chicken rice stalls I frequent due to it's consistent quality of the chicken rice. The chicken are boneless so definitely it's worth your money, and what sets this plate of chicken rice apart from others is its thicker soy sauce, which gives a slightly better aroma and fragrance. Expect a long queue during meal time hours, but I guarantee you that it is worth the wait! .

Went to try this shop selling instagrammable desserts after seeing some of my friends trying it. And I must say the cakes look damn luxurious and pretty. The Mille Crêpe I tried was very creamy, you could literally feel the smooth texture of the layers after layers of this crepe. Slightly milky taste, but it was a well balanced one. Each spoonful of that dessert instantly melts in your mouth. You'll crave one more serving after another. Maximum indulgence! Price wise, it is definitely not wallet friendly, burnt a huge hole in my wallet afterwards LOL. Money fly away 💸💸 But it is definitely a place that you need to visit once. Overall, a good luxurious place to have high tea or desserts after meals.

I personally don't eat ramen that often so when it comes to choosing a ramen spot to eat, Ajisen Ramen is just the convenient place for me. The ramen itself although is springy but is not to my liking probably because I prefer thicker ramen noodles of better texture. Cha Shu is lean but tender and the broth itself is flavourful. I love the egg though, the yolk has that right temperature making it slight runny, perfect👌Oh, btw you can make it a lunch set for better value for money, comes with a drink and a side dish.

The perfect chillout place serving up affordable authentic Mexican cuisines. Think burrito rice bowls, tacos, wraps and quesadillas. Everything pictured is really affordable and scrumptious. One of my most recommended dishes is the crispy buffalo wings that was drizzled with smoky-sweet sauce which was only $8. I wouldn't suggest you top up 2 bucks for the Mexico-imported coke though.

Another awesome restaurant to go to for affordable and tasty Vietnamese food. What sets this restaurant apart from Pho Street or So Pho is that it doesn't charge service charge! Anyways, I ordered this pho, the soup is very light, and you can actually taste the sweetness of the broth with the beef slices. But what I really love about this pho is the beef balls. Fragrant and have a really nice texture also. Such a bowl of comfort food😋

Tried the Prawn Pork Ribs Mee (Dried) ($4), Wanton soup ($3), Fried fish bee hoon ($4).
The prawn pork ribs noodle got a very nice spicy kick, making me sweat when I finished the bowl, pork ribs are tender, overall very tasty.
The wanton soup is decent, or else average.
Fried fish bee hoon was probably one of the best I've ever tried, fried fish given was so generous, and the pieces are large. A very comfort bowl of food indeed!
