My long awaited Le Bon Funk experience has been concluded and it was truly an excellent meal with great dining companions. As we devour through plates after plates of food, each came with interesting flavour combinations and textures.
From the iconic Cedar Jelly and Foie Gras Toast ($18, 2 pcs), that melts in your mouth the moment it touches your tongue, to the widely acclaimed Beef Tongue and Gribiche Sandwich ($26), the restaurant certainly lived up to expectations. Other highlights include their popular Whole Globe Artichoke with Vinaigrette and Aioli ($24), Suckling Pork Belly and Peaches with Lemon Kosho ($24, 2pcs) and Spanish Octopus with Smoked Paprika ($38). As we attempt to eat the entire menu (almost!), we soldiered through the Ricotta Agnolotti with Cauliflower and Charred Leek ($38) that was delish especially with the garlic chips and Iberian Pork Chop with Carrot and Leeks ($48).
