I like this bowl of mee sua ($3) for its tender slices of pork and well prepared kidney slices! The mee sua wasn't clumpy and thus easy to eat!

Dinner buffet at $35.80. We opted for the Tom yum soup and seafood platter for starters. The Tom yum soup base was a clear sour soup. I didn't really like it so I replaced it with the creamier Tom yum soup from the buffet line. The meat and seafood were not fantastically fresh, but they had my fav fried beancurd skin roll. The buffet and dessert selection was not too bad :) Overall satisfying.

Genki Sushi is one of those to-go comfort affordable kaiten sushi places and this spicy tuna sushi ($2.80) is one of my favorites, probably cos of the creamy texture and spiciness :D

The Ika Meshi shrank dramatically in size when I revisited it yesterday. It was too salty and nothing to shout about. Depressing, really..

I ordered the original Butao King ($13.90) to get a taste of its base flavour and opted for Level 3 Fire Sauce with an egg ($2). The soup was really good! Thick, savory and sweet all together. Real niceeeee.

The Signature Tendon set ($14.90) came with a mini chawanmushi, 2 prawns, super long piece of fish, long beans, pumpkin, egg, seaweed, mushroom, baby corn and eggplant. First 2 bites were quite yummy but it got real greasy real fast, and I couldn't finish it. The egg plant was soaked with oil and the seaweed tempura was so unbelievably hard, you could cause serious damage with it.

Fragrant soft rice that goes real well with the chilli! Excellent value at $2.50, with crispy chicken wing, egg and still got yummy peanuts and ikan bilis!

I'm partial to coconut ice cream ^^. I like how this one tastes, it's got a refreshing subtle taste, not too overpowering ($4.80). The homemade kaya was light and went well with the ice cream and peanuts. Nice!

To me, the fresh sashimi at Wahiro is one of their highlights. One of the yummiest Mekajiki I've tried!

Foie gras nuggets and asparagus with miso dressing ($15). Soft, buttery, nutty, yummy!

Excellent mixed tempura ($15) with good quality prawns, veggies, mushroom. The batter was light, not overly greasy and you can taste the sweetness of the ingredients beyond the crunch.
