I tried the laksa spaghetti, salted egg crab pasta (not in image) and squid ink pasta (not in image). The salted egg crab pasta and laksa spaghetti stands out the most. It was spicy and it was a big portion. That day also happened to be my friend’s birthday and we had a complimentary durian creme brûlée (the best desert I ever tried!!). Been here twice and definitely coming back for the pasta here again.

Each person is about $20 for drinks and mains.

I tried the aburi salmon don cooked till medium while my friend tried the sukiyaki beef don. We had non-alcoholic drinks with truffle fries and mentaiko scallop. Truffle fries were to die for. Their mains were flavourful and their scallop was thinly sliced.

I tried the aburi salmon mentai don. It cost $11.90 and it is so worth it. I love how the sushi taste so fresh and it melts into my mouth. My friends tried the salmon sashimi don and it’s also equally as good! The drinks were on promo as well. My friends had 2 blue ocean and a fresh coconut and we shared truffle fries (not recommended). However, definitely coming back here for their sushi! Total damage: $10+ per person

I tried the Oh dang dang pasta, clam pasta, chilli beef nacho and Wellington. The oh dang dang pasta stands out the most. It tasted like korean jjang jjang noodles. The Nutella drink was amazing! :)

I tried the Egg Benedict (again) and 2six breakfast. This is my second time going but I was disappointed with my eggs benedict this time round. It was alittle watery. 2six breakfast was just alright. A definitely must-try dish. This time round, I had their tea in a pot (blissful berries and lemon grass). Blissful berries was fruity on its own and lemon grass has a strong flavour. The tea was refillable too! Definitely a must order for future!

Each person is about $12 for drinks and mains.

I tried the Egg Benedict and Gyudon. It was to my expectations of how egg Benedict taste like. On the other hand, Gyudon was really good!! A definitely must-try dish. Desserts was alright (Chocolate and lavender Mille crepe cake) but the drink were slightly diluted. I’m definitely coming back for their main dish!

Each person is about $15 for drinks and desserts.

I tried the duck pasta and pork chop. Before I went there, I heard that the duck pasta was a must-try. However, it was quite salty for my liking and the pasta was a little hard. On the other hand, I felt that the pork chop was really good!! It went well with the cinnamon apple that melts in your mouth! A definitely must-try dish.

On a side note, the price is not nett. It comes up to about $15+ per person. I added a dessert and it came up to $20+ per person.

I tried the cheese and hazelnut gelato. I love how unique the cheese is!! The person mentioned that it is made of laughing cow cheese. It has a sweet and salty taste which is not overpowering and not jelak. On the other hand, the hazelnut gelato was delicious! It has bits of hazelnut inside. However, I felt it was alittle too sweet for my liking. Sadly, we weren’t able to choose their all time favourite - pistachio and 85% choco (even though I heard that these 2 are amazing!!)

My partner and I added a cone (burnt cone with hazelnut and slightly burnt cone with cheese) for $1 each and it was the best decision made! The cones were amazing with the gelato! The total price was $7. I’ll definitely be back to try it again.

I tried the Premium Kaidan set. I love how the sushi taste so fresh. Sadly, you couldn’t choose which premium set and your free set. And it’s quite pricey for a dish (42++). However, the service and the ambience is good!

I bought lotus biscuit shake and Melaka latte (iced). The lotus biscuit shake is a definitely must-try! I love how the drink isn’t too sweet. However, I wasn’t a fan of the Melaka latte as it tasted like roasted coffee. But it does have a taste of the Melaka beans.

The usual price of the lotus biscuit drink is $6.60 and the Melaka latter is $6. The price came up to $6.30 for both drinks! I’m so happy I got it on burpple!

First time trying Yan Xi Tang. The shop is located in a bakery shop and it could be easily missed if you walk passed it. The drinks in this shop is really unique!! I bought pistachio milk tea and mango roselle orange blue flower with lychee pop under the signature drinks and passion fruit orange fruit tea and peach mango fruit tea.

The pistachio milk tea is a definitely must-try! The mango roselle was a little too sweet for me. Love the flavour of the roasted pistachio. I didn’t try the fruit teas as those were for a friend.

The usual price of the signature drinks (L) is $5.80 while the fruit teas is around $4.70. With burpple, you pay $2.90 and $2.35 for a large cup of their signature BBT and fruit tea respectively. So it’s definitely worth it! Also, do note that you can’t choose the sugar level.
