Stupid Queue System Takeaway queue should be different from dine in queue. Was made to wait in line for dine in and there were three people in front of us, refuse to take order for takeaway. Can’t you just allow us to put in orders for takeaway like what other restaurants do? We had to wait for 3 groups to get their seats first, before we can place our takeaway order. Doesn’t make sense.

1-1 Beef Noodles Ordered the beef balls and beef slices noodles. Soup was very flavourful and there was generous servings of meat and noodles. Sides were not part of the deal but was pretty affordable. Ice honey lemon is what it is (ok). Tried the soup options this time but will definitely be back to try to dry ones!! EXCITING!! 😋

Beef Rendang Set The rendang was tender with a deep, slow‑cooked flavour that coated the rice nicely. The basmati rice was light and fragrant, making a clean base for the richer beef. Anchovies, peanuts and cucumber added crunch and freshness, while the fried egg gave a straightforward finish. The sambal leaned balanced, tying everything together without overpowering 》$6

Mega Value Set Chicken wing, egg, otah and begedil all on one plate. The basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant, sambal leaned balanced rather than fiery. The chicken wing was crisp and juicy, otah added a nice bite and the begedil was soft and comforting. Everything came together well, though I wished the egg yolk was runny which would have made the whole plate the best of everything. Portions aren’t huge but for the price it’s a satisfying mix of variety and flavour 》$5.50

Nasi Lemak $4.5 The most important component here is the fluffy rice which is suffused with coconut-y flavour, and this went magnificently well with the sweet and spicy sambal. I also appreciated the freshly fried ikan bilis. The chicken wing was nice enough, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Lor Mee $4 As with most stalls at Tampines Round Market, the food here is average. There're 2 places selling lor mee in this hawker centre (the other being Botak Lor Mee), and this has the heavier sauce, and less variety of ingredients. It comes with lots of battered fish (mostly batter), and half a braised egg. The lor is agreeably garlicky and vinegary, but otherwise unremarkable.

Lunch Prawn Noodle Dry (S$4) Mee poh in spicy version topped with 2 unpeeled prawns, sliced pork, sliced fish cake and accompanied with a bowl of broth. Felt an overwhelming taste of Tomato ketchup.

Sea Salt Hojicha + Maple Pecan Sea Salt Hojicha + Maple Pecan (Double Scoops - $8) I felt that most ice cream shops didn't serve much matcha ice cream and they served only hojicha (roasted tea) imo tbh. Hojicha just doesn't have much roasted tea due to sea salt. Maple Pecan really got that nutty aftertaste with maple syrup. I just read through their google reviews talk about their waffles and I think I can try their waffles next time if got enough room for my stomach.

Pistachio I very picky about pistachios. I think it's just ok. Probably because I have eaten way too many pistachio ice creams wherever I go. Order this if you really need to satisfy your cravings if not I prefer to try the other flavour

Sea salt hoji cha Quite nice. This ice cream has a strong hoji cha flavour. I don't really taste the sea salt but I still love all manners of cha alot. So it will satisfy fans. It a good ice cream considering its location in a HDB neighborhood.

Ayam Penyet Throwback to their final week. To be honest although I quite like them, I don't patronise often, due to the prices and inconsistency. Here's a typical example. Everything was bad about this, except maybe the spices on the chicken. They didn't even bother re-frying the chicken.
