Pork Chop Curry Rice Looking for some premium Chinese food for lunch with affordable price? Mister Wu offers their set lunch for not more than $20 that comes with main dish, dim sum and their signature tea. This was out from the menu but definitely worth trying. Consider big portion with lots of curry gravy on top, and also the pork chop, potato and fried egg! You couldn鈥檛 ask more than this when you get to choose a dim sum and signature to compete your meal.

Tomato Soup Beef La Mian. An easy and comforting dish - soup base was a rich tangy tomato with nicely marinated slices of beef and topped with a sunny side up. This place has definitely reinvented well with a new and improved menu!

Mister Wu 21/06/19 Met up with a friend for a buffet dinner at Mister Wu. Buffet details: 1) $29 per pax (Min 2 pax) > $19.14 nett per pax (After 40% Chope discount) 2) Limited to first 20 pax 3) Weekdays: 1830H - 2130H Saturdays: 1130H - 1430H & 1830H - 2130H Overall, the buffet had many notable dishes including the truffled carrot cake (Strong truffle aroma and flavour), XO sauce cheong fan (Could not exactly taste the XO sauce but loved the texture of the rice roll), truffle shroom la mian (Really strong truffle flavour and sweet sauce coating the noodles), braised pork rice (Thick layers of pork) and the hibiki seafood la mian (Broth was strong and had a slight 'burn' when going down your throat; perhaps due to the Hibiki whiskey?). The desserts were also a highlight of this buffet, their red bean rice cake, sakura and melon crystal balls all being really good to pair with some warm tea. I do not mind going back to the buffet though certainly ordering a lot less in future. It is extremely value-for-money for the quality and variety of dishes and tea offered. Would recommend for family gatherings and get-togethers with friends! Tips: 1) Do not be stupid and eat some cookie dough before going for a buffet like I did 2) Order only 1 piece of each dim sum first! 3) La mian / rice dishes are NORMAL SIZE SERVINGS, do NOT over order 4) Save space for the desserts and variety of tea! Price: 9/10 Taste: 9/10 Overall: 9/10 See more at: Thankgodjournals.blogspot.com

Beef Sukiyaki Don Ordered their normal beef version and did not regret. Juicy and tender sliced beef cooked in sukiyaki style. Topped with other ingredient such as big slice of braised toufu, mushroom and assortment of vegetables. Super awe by how Keisuke can manage to maintain so many outlets selling different food.

Sukiyaki Gyu Don ($14.90) Sumptuous, wholesome meal consisting of a gyu don, chawanmushi, onsen egg, miso soup and free flow pickles and radish! All for $17.50 after GST and service charge!!! Don鈥檛 underestimate the gyu don which came with beef, cabbage, mushrooms and braised tofu as well as additional sukiyaki sauce on the side for maximal enjoyment 馃槍 Came on a Friday evening and there was just a short queue (waited about 20min!) Do note that there are only counter seats but this made the entire dining experience very fun as we got to watch the chefs cook our gyu dons in front of us.

[馃搷Beef Sukiyaki don Keisuke, Singapore] Tucked in a corner of ONZE Tanjong Pagar, Beef sukiya don keisuke offers an affordable and of quality japanese don. The menu is pretty straight forward, with the offering of Beef Sukiyaki Don ($14.90) or Kiwami Wagyu Sukiyaki Don ($29.90) or Pork Sukiyaki Don ($12.90) or Pork Tamago Don ($12.90). We ordered the Beef Sukiyaki don and the Pork sukiyaki Don. The聽Beef Sukiyaki Don聽comes with succulent premium-cut USA beef simmered in a special聽sukiyaki聽sauce, served on top of warm fluffy koshihikari聽steamed rice, mushrooms, braised tofu,聽shirataki聽noodles and cabbage. Whereas the Pork sukiyaki don comes with thinly sliced pork belly (with good meat to fat ratio). Each don comes with chawanmusi, miso soup and onsen egg. For this keisuke specialty store, the free flow side dishes are pickled raddish as well as picked cabbage. We really liked the pickled raddish as they added yuzu peels that gave a citrusy fragrant. Though we hoped that it would be more sour and tangy, rather than sweet, the pickled raddish was still relatively enjoyable. The pickled cabbage was a little too salty for my liking especially if i were to eat it alone, but it goes well with the rice. Overall, we felt that the taste was pretty average. I guess one reason is because the food was served warm rather than piping hot. Hence, i felt that the rice lacked the fragrance. Nothing special nor mindblowing. For the price point, it was something that you wouldnt regret eating but if you considered the taste too, i feel its not something i would return for. Taste: 2.5/5 Worth it: 3.75/5 (The portion of rice was a lot for us to finish and the portion of meat was decent and justifiable to its price. The quality of the meat can be considered good for its price. Also with so many sides and free flow pickled vege, we think it felt pretty worth.) Overall: 6.25/10 No go Can go馃槉 Must go #burpple
