New subway cookie!!!! 🤩 Honestly, this is their best cookie hands down!! The mint taste was so distinct & paired w the generous amount of choc chip inside............ so good!!!!

We ordered: Black Sesame Paste ($4) with 3 tangyuans (forgot the price, sorry, but I think it was around $2+) & mao shan wang durian shaved ice ($9.90).

The black sesame paste came with a layer of ginger pandan cloud, which we found too ginger-y for our liking. The paste itself was rich & creamy, but it wasn’t as smooth as the ones u get from Ah Chew. The coconut crisps gave it a nice texture tho! Overall, it gets abit jelat so this would be good for sharing!

The tangyuans came in 3 flavours, caramel, peanut hazelnut & green tea, so they’re not ur conventional peanut & sesame flavours. Overall, the tangyuans were chewy & nice & we found the flavours to be really unique! It was pretty small tho so not sure if it was worth the price. The green tea filling had a slight bitter-ness to it & the peanut hazelnut just tasted like a melted ferrero rocher!

The mao shan wang shaved ice was the star tho. It was served with a coconut shaved ice, chendol jelly, kognac jelly, durian paste & a gula melaka cheese cap. The durian paste was really rich & u could see the durian fibres inside! The coconut shaved ice also went really well w the jellies & gula melaka cheese cap. This is really a must try!

This was pretty good! The baguette was really nice toasted so that it was super crispy. I read reviews saying that the bread-to-filling ratio was really poor bc there was not a lot of filling, but it’s honestly perfect for bread-lovers like me! We also felt that the mix of chicken, pickled vegetables & cilantro was perfect because it wasn’t too jelat! Found a hidden gem in Plaza Sing 🤩

We got 2 ribeyes, one with cheesy broccoli & another w mac & cheese. Honestly, both sides were really good we were v impressed! As for the ribeyes, we got ours in a medium & we gotta say it’s pretty decent for its price!!!!! Not as good as other steakhouses but honestly, a ribeye for $10........ who’s complaining!!! Tip: use entertainer if u want 1 for 1 for the steaks bc the steaks are not valid for 1 for 1 on burpple. Also do reserve early cos this place gets pretty crowded!

Overall, we were more impressed by their sides than their mains LOL

Pork tenderloin grilled and topped with truffle cream sauce. We chose onion rings as the side. First of all, the onion rings were really crispy & nice so highly recommended (even tho the portion was abit small). The pork itself was okay but it wasn’t as tender as we expected it to be. Truffle cream sauce was okay too but we couldn’t taste the truffle in it. Overall, it was pretty meh compared to their other dishes but it was still worth with the 1-for-1! Also, sorry for the horrible photos, we were just too excited to eat!

Applewood smoked ribs served with in-house bbq sauce. We also chose chilli corn as our side. Honestly this was really good! The ribs were tender & it slid off the bone really easily, & it went well w the bbq sauce. Chilli corn was pretty impressive as well as the chilli powder gave it a slight kick. Salad was pretty normal, but they drizzled it w citrus juice so it was quite refreshing! Also do get their truffle fries as a side for $7, it’s really good!!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This was so much better than their egg tarts, even tho we still feel like it’s not worth the queue. The golden crumbly crust at the top was still crispy after we oven-toasted it after 3 days. They were pretty generous w their kaya too even tho their kaya is slightly on the sweet side & it gets abit too jelat & sweet after a while. Overall, we still feel we can get better bolo buns elsewhere, this was a disappointment :(

We got the cookie-based egg tarts bc the pastry ones were out of stock by the time we went (around 7pm on a Saturday). The queue was around 20 mins long & honestly, these egg tarts were not worth the price or the queue. The egg tarts were v meh, & there was a plastic-y taste in a few of them 😢 the cookie tart was really meh as well. The only saving grace was the smooth texture of the egg custard but honestly, you can definitely find better egg tarts elsewhere (even those egg tarts at neighborhood bakeries are better than this). What a disappointment :(

Came in a set of 4, with 2 kaya & 2 chocolate donuts. Donuts were light & fluffy & it wasn’t overly sweet even tho it was covered in sugar. The star of the show were the fillings tho!!!! The kaya filling was smooth, creamy & rich (with a good balance of eggy & sweet). The pandan & coconut flavours came through as well, even tho the coconut taste was stronger. The chocolate filling was sort of like a chocolate ganache, rich & sweet, but not overly sweet until u feel jelat. They were also v generous w the fillings!!!! Even tho it was abit pricey, it was still worth it overall 🤩

Do call early to reserve the donuts because they sell out fast!

Was quite impressed by this dish! The prawn taste from the ebi boiled tgt w the porky tonkotsu broth went together surprisingly well & it was so so so flavourful 😛 pretty unique as well bc it was our first time trying a prawnish tonkotsu broth 😱The noodles were well-cooked & chewy. Overall, it was worth w the 1 for 1 but not sure if we would pay $20 for this!

We were disappointed bc we ordered the birikara spiciest miso ramen but we were served this instead. After we tried it & found that it was not spicy (at all), we realized that they served us the wrong order. This bowl wasn’t that great either, although the meat was tender & flavourful, the soup did not have the rich tonkotsu taste & it was honestly pretty meh. The noodles were the thicker kind of yellow noodles as compared to the ebi tonkotsu ramen so it’s more chewy but honestly we prefer our noodles to be slightly thinner, so this bowl was a huge disappointment for us :( we queued for about 45 mins for this as well during their 1 for 1 opening special!

We ordered 1 sesame, 1 peanut & 2 yam tangyuans w peanut soup for $2.20. What a steal! First of all, the peanut soup was sweet & fragrant w lots of soft peanuts inside. They were v generous w the fillings as well, & the sesame & peanut tangyuans were more on the sweet side as compared to the yam but they were all so so so good! The tangyuans were nice & chewy as well. Highly recommended! 👍🏼
