Fantastic Meat They've got a promotion going on their website itself so I didn't use beyond for this. Skip the Deluxe buffet and go straight for Premium. For 75 per person (inclusive of gst and all), I thought the meal was really worth it. The meats were beautifully marbled and melted in your mouth. We couldn't help but get more orders of both the kurobuta karubi and wagyu karubi. Highly recommend getting their tonkotsu soup for your hotpot too, it's lovely and sweet.

1 For 1 Burpple Beyond This set was $22.90 but with 1 for 1 it was quite reasonable. Honestly, was expecting more quality for the food but it was average at best. The rice did not look like Japanese rice, I think they used jasmine rice instead. However, the unagi was quite good but I’ve tasted better before. I liked the sashimi! However, portions were quite small and the chicken in the chawanmushi was pink and I did not dare to eat it. Overall, it was quite okay, would not go back there again if I were craving Japanese, could probably get cheaper and better quality food elsewhere. Food: 6.5/10

Arrive Early To Avoid Disappointment Ordered the breakfast platter ($27) which was probably enough to feed 2 pax. Inside it was eggs, bread, salad, sausages, bacon, salmon tomatoes, potatos. Their potatoes were well fried outside, yet soft inside. Which is also how i'd describe their toasted brioche buns. Their eggs also were very creamy. Get the truffle eggs prosciutto if truffles are your thing. They give a generous amount of truffle which gives the egg an added kick But they dont take reservations unfortunately. I reached at 11.15am and still had to queue, so you might want to head there earlier. And ask for a seat inside. The heat can get unbearable if you're seated outside. Looking forward to going back to try their beef cheek rendang

Truffle Eggs Prosciutto | $22 The toast was soft, which was not a bad thing (who says it needs to be crispy to be good!) for this dish. The egg is drizzled with truffle oil and the ham was salty - but because of this combination of scrambled eggs, ham and toast, the different flavours complemented one another so well that it made this breakfast dish so delectable! Admittedly for a small eater, I got quite sick of the taste after a while, but I’m not complaining as it just meant that the portion was really generous and filling! Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Truffle Eggs Prosciutto Elixir does one of a better scrambles, infused nicely with truffle shavings. No words for prosciutto cause, it’s self explanatory good on its own. Though the portion may seem small on the first impressions, the brioche and eggs it leaves me belly full. Ooh, they do good coffees too.

One of those great Monday Blues killing deals. $20++ for a burger and a pint from the @youngmasterales core range. The Beerger Monday gives you a full size burger (not some smallish slider like patty in between buns) with fries and a choice of PINT from Hong Kong’s finest. It’s dope! . Thanks @michaeltai84 , @roninomalley and @chef.alton.h for taking care of the Noodle!

Drink Up! The Guild is a great place to tuck in to unique creations, & you'll appreciate this place even more if you are someone who enjoys alcoholic beverages. Aside from the plethora of beers they have on tap, they also have Gin & Tonic, & Highball Whiskey on tap. These are very popular; the Guildhouse G&T & Guildhouse Highball both go for $16.00++ a pop. & they also make a pretty mean Negroni 😁 Thanks Danielle & The Guild for the hospitality, & Damian for the invite! 💕 💳 Accepts credit cards 🌬 Air-conditioned seats only 🖥 Accepts reservations on Chope

Who Knew Cabbage Could Be So Tasty The Grilled Spicy Cabbage ($14++) is another one for the spicy lovers. Lovingly charred, the acidity of the the tomato vinaigrette was delicious, & the spiciness very welcomed & refreshing. Topped off with a motherload of scallions for that added crunch - as if the cabbage itself weren't crunchy enough already. Good way to get your veggies & fibre in! Chendol 4.1++ W Red Bean 1.2++ The gula melaka was power, similar to the redhill power cendol. Very thick, it almost solidifies due to the temperature of the ice. I like fine ice, but not everyone would appreciate the ice melting halfway thru the bowl and turn into soup. Coconut milk was a bit diluted, cendol itself was devoid of any pandan taste. The red bean though, idk if it's just me but i feel it's the best I've had. The mixture of the paste and the whole beans, as well as the creaminess and balanced sweetness. Overall, it's a great bowl, and not too expensive either

Nasi Lemak Chicken Leg Set TGIF lunch indulging in one of the best Nasi Lemak. Given the high price, this Nasi Lemak is of a higher quality and portion is much larger than the usual because of the generous amount of chicken they served! Nice coconut aroma arises from its fragrantly coconut rice, perfectly cooked to the right texture that’s dry yet fluffy! Chicken leg was humongous, it’s tasty and juicy and has a crispy skin that’s irresistible! The sides were so good too, Ikan bilis were light and super crispy, Japanese cucumber was cool and crunchy, egg yolk were runny, and sambal were so flavourful and not too spicy for our liking! Love it, it’s so comforting and satisfying! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ✔️ Dine-in, Takeaway & Islandwide Delivery⠀ 🌍 thecoconutclub.oddle.me⠀ 🛵 $6 Flat Islandwide Delivery Fee with Min order $60 ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #hungryunicornsg #sgunited #stayhomesg #savefnbsg ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Spanish Torrija Omg this lovely dessert ($12) was my favorite. A delicious chunk of deep-fried, crispy, cinnamon sugar coated brioche bread rested on some hazelnut pralines and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I would say its the Spanish equivalent of french toast, and a delightful play on textures and temperature contrasts. That lovely crispy exterior with an interior that's as fluffy as a dream (as brioche should be). The bread itself was warm, almost hot and the ice cream melted into the perfect creamy sauce. And the praline, oh the praline. It had a crumb-like texture reminiscent of apple pie topping that soaked up the ice cream. It was also one of the only tapas that was perfectly portioned; just sufficient to feel satiated with its sweetness, but not enough to feel bloated from the oil and carbs. Such a sinful dessert, but so worth it. 8.5/10

Galician Octopus I've never actually eaten cooked octopus, only sashimi. So I was quite excited to bite into this josper-grilled octopus leg ($25). It was sliced and seated atop seasoned, slightly spicy crispy potatoes. Octopus has one of the most unique and distinct textures among all the seafoods, and I was glad to see that it still retained that characteristic bounce and chewiness without being overly tough. The josper grill imparted a slight smokiness, just the slightest hint that gave it that oomph above tako sashimi. The smear of sauce and the few shakes of spice mix that the dish waa garnished with elevated the octopus' flavor (octopus itself tastes quite mild). I felt that potatoes and octopus were a strange pairing though, I didn't quite understand it. I also wish there were more octopus slices. 7.5/10

Goat's Cheese Salad Something light and refreshing in between the heavier tapas. The base of this salad ($15) was mesclun with fresh goat's cheese and a mix of dried fruits and nuts. Lightly dressed with sherry vinaigrette which I honestly couldn't taste. Its my first time having goat's cheese which was delicious!! It has its own strong distinct flavor but its not too heavy or strong (definitely not like feta, which has an overpowering salty taste). I like that it's a soft cheese, its got such a nice soft mozzerella- like bite. Cheese and wine is such a perfect pairing haha. <3
