So I took the opportunity to ask about Kinki , a prized rockfish from Hokkaido. At which he offered us a complimentary alternative: the Kinmedai ("golden eyed" Tai) which has a good fat content yet delicate and tender. Get both! so I decided to try this store instead of blogger's favourite Fu Ming.
Good decision as the white was fried to a crisp with a lot of egg and complemented well with the crunchy bean sprouts. Black one was savoury sweet with a load of cai por. Wok hei good wor~ no wonder there's a perennial long queue.
my dad did grumble that I've been eating carrot cake non-stop of late. Oops.
