Cow Cow Milk Pie ($3.80) I’m a sucker for milky things - when I saw a milk pie pastry that could be eaten on the go I had to get it. The Japanese Mascarpone Cheese and French Cream filling was heavenly, light in texture and cheesiness yet creamy and full of milkiness. Tastewise overall similar to a custard pie but lighter and more milky, cheesy and creamy. Unfortunately the texture of the shell was not as amazing. I thought the choux and pie dough combination ended up with a not very crispy but doughy and gooey pastry - which wasn’t that nice. Maybe it’s better if you get it freshly baked so the texture wouldn’t be so flat - all the pies were prepared in advance beforehand though. Overall not too bad of a try if you want to just try the cream (ha ha this is technically a cream pie), as the cream is the best part of this dessert. Otherwise I would probably give their other desserts a go instead.

Cheese Ice Cream This is sooo good ! I love the soft serve ice cream, the staff was nice enough to give me one more mini cheesecake as I was sharing. Everything was good ! Will have it again soon

Milk Cheesecake Their milk cheese cake has a strong milky and creamy taste. Buy if you really love dairy and cream. Tastes yum when you pair with cookies. It probably won't be your type of cheese cake if you prefer a more pronounced cheese or cakey flavour.

Sweet potato Jjajangmyeon - 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 ($16.90 alacarte) - Classic twist on the usual savory noodles with generous topping of crisp sweet potato shavings. Added a nice textural contrast and sweetness; def worth a try once but personally prefer the classic slurpworthy rendition.

Tangsuyuk 𝟕-𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 ($33.90) - Eye-catching Tangsuyuk with fresh greens, paired with 4 homemade sauces of differing sweet, sour, spicy nature. Pork pieces were addictive with crispy light batter and tender meat.

OBBA Jjajang😋 Went to OBBA Jjajang 2 weeks ago and ordered their Kimchi Stew, Steamed Egg, and Jjajangmyeon (~$40 for 2 pax)!😇 Overall ratings 10/10! Loved their food as always and the kimchi stew is so flavourful😍 Would definitely head back again

Chicago-Style Spinach & Artichoke Dip ($24) corn chips, roasted salsa, pecorino It was good, the corn chips were thin and crisp, tasted quite fresh (not sure if they fry it themselves??) The spinach and artichoke dip was earthy, coupled with the pecorino which was a bit stinky (in a good way) and cheesy. Each time I eat artichokes I don’t rly get the hype lol it tastes like bamboo shoots to me. I liked the spinach part nonetheless. My friend thought it didn’t rly pair well with the chips and I see where he’s coming from but I was okay! The roasted salsa was delicious, it was hearty and well-balanced, those went really well with the chips. We had 5 pax and I think it was a good size for us.

Swirl Soft Serve Ice Cream | $8 Got the blue label soft serve ice cream in a cup for $8, and added brownie chunks for another $2. The swirl flavour simply means you get a mix of both vanilla and after eight, a mint chocolate flavour. I thoroughly adored the texture of the soft serve here, it does not melt too quickly, and has a nice milkiness to it. Hesitated adding the brownie chunks - but it really elevated the experience for me with that added chewiness. Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Original Famous | $32 Have been wanting to try Blue Label for a long time knowing how their restaurants exude a classy, yet laid-back retro bar vibe. It was a nice, cozy ambience even at the bar seats - which lucky walk-ins get relegated to especially when the restaurant is fully booked. The Original Famous composed of a five cheese blend together with a tomato base and basil. The pizza here has a crustier, crunchier texture unlike of course, your sourdough pizzas. But the crunch was well-appreciated, and the crust was of a nice thinness. The flavours of this classic pizza was simply enjoyable, nothing too heavy with the cheesiness on point! Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Kuri Ringo ($8.90) Layers of sponge cake and chunky apple bits topped chestnut cream. Honestly, didn't really like this The flavours didn't gel together well and the apples had this funky artificial taste. Chestnut seemed more like an afterthought rather than an integral part of the dessert. Come to Hvala for the matcha but not for the cakes as all the ones I've tried have been disappointing so far.

An-butter brioche ($13.90). We had initially wanted to share the dairy free waffles but since it was near to closing and they ran out of the waffles, we picked the an-butter brioche for sharing instead. An-butter, which is Japanese sweet red bean paste made from azuki beans (anko) blended with rich butter. It’s sweetness was just right to balance the umaminess of the matcha gelato, while the butter was pretty subtle. The brioche bun was, however, slightly dry. You could have a choice of the bun being served alongside a scoop of oatmilk or matcha°1 gelato.

Goma slice ($8.90), Hot Yuki premium grade matcha ($5.50). The consolation of missing a good cup of matcha from Japan is finding something similar from @hvala_sg. Boasting a velvety texture, Yuki, an everyday premium grade matcha delivers a harmonious balance of umami and natural sweetness. The mellow flavor profile encompasses a pleasant bitterness that is neither overpowering nor sharp with medium astringency. A suggested pairing would be the Goma Slice, where layers of goma (black sesame) sponge and cream imparted a rich, toasty note that danced on the palate. The sweetness of the cake was perfectly balanced, complementing the nutty essence without overwhelming it. Recommended for sharing.

Basque burnt 9nett Must try Molten even when cold, the creaminess and flavour were both good. Rightly, the cheese wasn't too sweet, and they balance it out with a glaze on top. Textbook apart from the glaze, which puts them over the top. The best I've had in recent memory Location ulu tho, abit painful to walk under the sun at noon

Good tiramisu Tiramisu @ $13++ It's good, but we have had much better. The rum wasn't soaked through in the middle so the taste could have been better. Base sauce was mango and raspberry which didn't really go well with tiramisu.

Awesome pizza Prosciutto pizza @ $25.50++ Really great pizza! We absolutely love it! The pizza has breadlike base, but they managed to keep it thin with very great texture and the right amount of sauce such that it's not soggy and the base crust is crispy! truffle roasted garlic chirashi (23.80++) omg this was so tasty 😙 the crunchy garlic slices and the sauce underneath made the whole bowl so creamy and delectable without feeling ‘gelak’. fish was also really fresh and cut into reasonably sized cubes and slices. staff were also really friendly!

Grilled Unagi Chirashi Paying for the quality & quantity of the food here. Very fresh and good for sharing for the huge amount of portion. Worth it for gatherings.
