Authentic Classic Chinese Restaurant The decor & high ceiling with the stage brings u back to old Shanghai n old school family reunion dinners . U get the feeling the service staff have worked here their whole lives n e patrons are long time regulars , it feels very warm n homely . The service staff are excellent , it’s from working a long time n knowing what e customer wants even before they open their mouth . Most importantly , every dish is good , has standard . This lamb dish self wrapped in crepe skin is one of my fav .

Soufflé egg white ball w banana and red bean 12++ It's basically a donut, that isn't very crispy outside. Really nothing special, and very expensive Overall, the place has some hits and misses. For a place that's actually 70bucks per pax (we alr applied the UOB 15% discount), you better order carefully to make your money worth

生煎包 9++ The fact that these dishes that aren't mains like 抄手，葱油饼， 锅贴 are available only for lunch bothers me greatly. Shanghainese don't have a dimsum culture. These things are generally eaten for breakfast but they're available throughout the day. So there's no reason why they're not available for dinner if you're a proper Shanghainese place. Somehow there's still shengjian leftover from lunch, that's why we managed to have this The bottom is well crisped up. However the filling is meh. Overall fail.

Tropicana (Part of $25Nett Burpplebeyond deal + Top Ups for change of drinks) Call this “white trash food” but I loved my Sunday “lunch” on a hot afternoon recently that was sweetened with Burpplebeyond. Paying $30++ for a coffee, matcha latte and 2 smoothie bowls I was still pleased despite this not being the usual burpple 1 for 1 deal. My Tropicana smoothie bowl had a deliciously smooth and rich blend of the stipulated tropical fruits (mangoes, banana pineapples) together with coconut milk. As crunches there is also a good portion of granola with nuts. True to its picture fresh, although tart, green kiwi slices and cubed white dragonfruits were garnished on this beautiful bowl. We want to come back for the açai breeze.

Lemon Butter Cake [$6] The lemon icing tasted like rock sugar with lemon flavouring, but the zesty flavour made it refreshing. I would have preferred the butter cake to be denser and moist... as it was hard to eat being crumbly. The ambience of the place was very cosy and it truly feels like a home. This actually made me feel that I was having tea time in a home, which was a delightful experience!

Butter cake w lemon drizzle and flat white [~$11] Doubling up as both a small cosy cafe and a retail space, this definitely in my to go list! Sadly, the options are limited to pastries and coffee. And both cake and coffee are just mediocre. Milk for the coffee was badly froth and disappointing. Difficult to justify a trip back here.

Tart, Sliced Cake & Caffeine Passionfruit raspberry tart, Buttercake lemon drizzle. Latte macchiato. Chill vibes. Loved the mini slide.
